the artists u mentioned make the most commercial and cheesy trance i have ever heard, most of the people like them because they their tracks have clubby melodies.
also, the club people aren't into their music as psy people are.           u can find "Anything U Want" using the search...

the clubtrancers they don't really into the music as the psy people are.. most clubbers i know don't really care about the music..and aren't involved in making clubtrance music

also, compare the number of clubtrance artists to psytrance artists... a lot of young psytrance artists.. i don't know of any young clubtrance artists

and in israel - how much clubtrance artists do u know comparing to psytrance artists?           u can find "Anything U Want" using the search...

I am one of them, euro trance like you call it (the name is actually just Trance) is a very nice music that shares a lot of elements with psy trance.

I enjoy it mostly in the clubs but its very good also for home listening and i have a huge collection of cds from the likes of Tiesto,Paul Van Dyk,Armin Van Buren,Paul Oakenfold,Sasha and the likes.

What i like the most is the fresh ideas in this kind of music, the amazing female vocals very oftenly used and ofcourse the superb level of production.

It becomes cheesy after some time indeed but like i have said in the past its very good to experiment with various kinds of electronic music (trance, house, techno, etc etc.) on various times and stages of your life.

After all psychedelic also becomes a real headache after some time so who wants (and can) listen to the same music all day or even all his life?

So be more open minded and give a chance to every kind of music.

now playing: veracocha - carte blanche
classic.

i have been into euro-club-whatever trance pretty much before i came to psytrance...my brother spins clubtrance and from what i hear from him i dont dig it anymore at all....at least the swiss clubtrance got stuck years ago...same buildings, same breaks, all very standardised...

and the bad thing is its coming over psytrance as well.           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

np: Paul Van Dyk - Nothing but you (God i love the female vocal)

trance (or eurotrance) was one of my first contact with eletronic music, and that's why i respect it a lot. Marvellous quallity of producers, great melodies...

But this is a forum guided mainly to Psychedelic Trance, so i imagine why ppl don't talk about other genres.           we are one.

in my opinion, paul van dyke, oakenfold etc, should not even be called trance.

I know I know.. there is a term 'trance', and the term 'psytrance' ... but they are just terms.

when it comes to sound. there is trance and
not-trance. paul van shite is not trance

I respect that many people got into trance through listening to other kinds of electronic music first, but I respect them even more for switching over to trance and forgetting about the 'comical rubbish', as timetraveller describes it.           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

Time Traveller i dont think that you can speak so badly for someone who is a worldwide recognised DJ and gathers thousands of people in each of his perfomances.

By the way have you ever heard any of his released compilations or you just speak with no facts?           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

eurotrance is very cheesy, this is not real trance, is only for "hooligans"....
Trance is a beatiful word with very bad use sometimes...
In Spain, we have a lot of shit compilations with the word Trance in the cover, but is only fucking commercial dance music...
Maybe Van Dyck, Tiesto , Oakenfold & Co. have a great reputation worlwide and they play in the biggest clubs (including Ibiza, hehe), but,who want play in these places where the audience only take attention in the tits of the gogo´s, and not to much in the music....

well droid, but we are talking about the music, not the crowd.

club trance is nice sometimes, so is minimal trance, so is full on trance (rarely ) and so is tech trance, and so on, and on, and on....
