I didnt see a specific section for the Baltics, so I thought I would post this in the general section....

Anyone have any links/recomendations for PsyTrance in the Baltics? I will travel there in Sept/October and am looking for info on any of those countries.

Also any odd ball/different things to see while there.

Thanks in advance!

And possibly very cheap if you know what I mean.. LOL

Oh one of the things you have to check out in Estonia is that bronze statue of the SU soldiers that has been causing a lot of fuzz lately           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Yes, I know all about the cheap beer (well, cheap everything really) and lovely ladies.

I have done a lot of W. Europe then decided to check out the East since I found the West....well, too Western for me (Im based in California). Last year was Czech and Poland. Krakow (dodgy, but SOOO much fun!!) is were I discovered darkpsy for the first time and thought since this years trip is even closer to the Russian Federation, I might try to track down some info on the scene over there.

Anything you want to recommend that I should see. Does not have to be psy related either...you know, cool castles, "secret" caves, natural wonders...something your average traveller might miss?

Oh and a ferry from Tallin to Helsinki is like 20€ one way.. so you can check out Finland as well. Perhaps check out http://www.elixiria.fi before for some nice outdoor Suomi party or something..

A ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm doesn't cost much more either. A train/bus from Helsinki to St. Petersburg is rather cheap as well. It's just that you'll need a visa for that so it's a bit more costly. I've been to St. Petersburg once.. it's rather amazing city with a lot of stuff to see and do! However if you go to Russia remember to be careful.. it's not exactly the safest place on Earth. A friend of mine went around the lake Laatokka (Ladozhskoy) with a bus.. he says it was rather different experience.. dunno           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."
