- Istanbul? I must be trippin', Istanbul is the large western civilized city of Turkey. lol. What I meant to write was Prague! This is no coincidence. I always mix up Prague and Istanbul. Why, I don't know.
Anyway. Nathan, don’t you have any family members still living there? So you haven’t been “home” since you where 6 years old?

Nope everyone is in Israel. Lithuania wasn't a nice place 4 Jewish ppl. f--ing Racists. Butiful country bad ppl - that’s what I remember from the 80'. So my friends there where Christians who left Poland - good ppl not like the Christian Lithuanians.
Also don’t forget that it is the homeland of Hannibal Lecter.

A ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm doesn't cost much more either. A train/bus from Helsinki to St. Petersburg is rather cheap as well. It's just that you'll need a visa for that so it's a bit more costly. I've been to St. Petersburg once.. it's rather amazing city with a lot of stuff to see and do! However if you go to Russia remember to be careful.. it's not exactly the safest place on Earth. A friend of mine went around the lake Laatokka (Ladozhskoy) with a bus.. he says it was rather different experience.. dunno

I was thinking more about Belarus or Ukraine over Russia, but I always travel w/o any real constraints. If I am having a good time, I stay, if not I hop on the train and go to the next town/country. |

well, dont know much about psy in baltics hehe, tho i live in latvia myself
im quite sure lithuanians kick some nice open airs during summer, never been to any myself also - baltics arent the warmest countries during sep/oct so if there are any parties at that time then they probably are held indoors. dont know.
what to see in latvia? dont know either  check the old city if you come to Riga, monument of freedom ["Brīvības piemineklis"] in the center if the city, sure alcohol is rather cheap here and girls are hot most definitely ! oh and as traveller mentioned - we do have sluts here aswell, weve been quite popular among staggers for our cheap alco and bitchez, tho, its quite a myth that whores are cheap here, ive read news about many foreigners being ripped off for hundreds and thousands of uk pounds at bars and clubs . imo weve been losing our popularity among chavs-staggers recently. sorry, cant help you much with info there are lots of things to see outside the capital city, few old castles, nature, remote beaches, smaller cities with their architecture, i could go on and on if had to point out every worth-to-see location, tho they arent located in one dense area, more like spread over the whole country. stick with capital city for the first time and see what new you can explore outside of it when you come over here for the next time perhaps try to google for it, not sure how helpful will internet be here tho. |

Be careful if you plan to go to parties in Estonia.
I was just recently in a party in Estonia and someone stole eyeclasses in a case and a mobile phone from me over there. One organiser tried to help me to find them after the party finished in case they had dropped in the chillout where i rested for a while (the place was really small and it would have been easy to find them if they were somewhere on the floor) and some of the partiers were just laughing about all this. This particular organiser also gave me a fake phone number i could call next day in case someone would have found the phone and classes, but ofcourse when i tried to call to this number it said that it is out of order.
They are very plur people in Estonia and they organise very plur parties, in fact so plur that i will never go to a party in Estonia again. One time is more than enough. |

Are they so plur that it will become nerdy?That they try to much or something?
will see if i find any parties in there in the summer.My girlfriend is not very big fan of psychedelic music but i got her to come to some parties when i haved played:)
It would be nice if someone could give me some links to promoters over there.
