we try to make this scene little better by point out not paying labels , fake live shows and ripoff productions etc.
so this topic actualy come to make this scene little more safisticated , not that it will really help exept little more bashing eskimo and clowns alike

but lets praise the really nice stuff in our circle for once;

tom cosm with his great explains how to do it right on youtube
o.o.o.d oldschoolers monsters from goa days i can just say im dying to see this full act
tegma seem to have very nice set-up
BLT aka perfect stranger with dani makov was sure awsome
reflections full live trance band is amazing nothing less
eat static merv no need for words the guy is part of the best devine music group ever came to visit planet earth
simon p allmighty
infected mushroom say no more , erez netz rocking the kasbah!
derango as far i understand is also one hell of live show

and i speak music wise , maybe those guys not jump 5 meters up in the air and they not have sync dance moves like shakira and eskimo but they make awsome original music and know how to preform live with no need to lie about it or play others creations

Anyone knows if theres any live coverband around in the psytrance scene?

This makes absolutely no sense, we have DJs, who needs Lives?

About stealing a track, couldn't care less, the guy can play whatever he wants as long as he does not try to release it.

Weird vibes around this topic. IMHO everyone here at Isratrance is somehow connected with the scene. The scene is not Wonderland or "Happy World Land", there's some bad things about the scene too, just as there is bad things about the whole world. But we should not leave the psyscene because of that, instead we can do our small share, small steps towards what we want things to be, and at the same time enjoy the good side of the scene.

I think in the end this is an interesting topic, bashing Eskimo is soooo outdated, you should have come around in 2005 to do that.
What's next? Look, this guy stole a sample from Matrix!

Of course I don't enjoy his music these days, but think about it as a good time to go rest in the Chill space.
Respect!

sorry but this line of thinking is just plain retarded. how can you compare someone taking a 5 second voice sample out of a movie and playing it during a track of *their own* music, to taking someone elses ENTIRE TRACK, and playing it in your set claiming it as your own?

i don't give a fuck that it's eskimo doing it, or that it's 'not cool to bash eskimo anymore'. if it had been any other artist doing that i still would have made the exact same topic.

furthermore, i don't give a shit that everyone on here already seems to think eskimo is shit. i'm posting this cos some tool is ripping off a track from one of my favourite bands. how would you like it if you produced a track and eskimo played it in his set and claimed credit for it?

everyone saying 'i don't care' is pretty much giving the green flag for eskimo and others to pull shit like this which is fucked.

what difference does it make whether it's released or not. he's still getting payed to do his live act right? so he's still making a profit off it.

A lot of you guyz are so critical about every little thing. Relax, chill and try smiling. Everything will be all right!!            "On the path of spirituality, one ventures to vanquish one’s own faults rather than to judge others"

that does not sound psychedelic its more like straight up techno...or detroit house

wow never knew there was such thing as house from detroit, as far as I m concern should the word Detroit be followed by TECHNO and Chicago by HOUSE.
correct me if a wrong, but this is known just as people know bic macs are part of the dollar menu......

anyways about eskimo, he and a bunch more have been doing the same for years now, so what in the world makes you think he is gonna change it, if the crowd that pays an entrance fee to see him download his music, dress like carebears meet a christmas tree and are high enough to forget about the "live" thing.......

last year I went to a com-pact festival in Mexico which in my opinion turned out to be the funniest ever, 9 out of 10 "lives" were not even conected to 1 of the many synths they requested, Virus, Nord Lead etc....

Only LOUD used them...

even the guitar holder/player of sesto sento wasn't even playing he was actually just holding it, you know like playing guitar hero in front of 8K people, but the crowd don't know it......

Is all this war about this thing?

fuuny minds...

let him play Michael Jackson tracks while he is naked...so what....ppl, let it be...its very normal.

vise virsa, its good that artist combines sometimes another tunes except of his tunes, even if its live set....i have some friends that can cut a track to many pieces then insert the samples inside live set...and it sounds super bomb....you dont know what is happening there...super trip.

there is tens of parties everywhere every week around the world...
if u dont like eskimo, then go to another events where he is not playing. or just while his set get a rest.

i think you overreacting here by those msgs...especially the artists of you...its shame to see that you make fun about another fellow...

respect to Eskimo (most talent in the scene).

peace

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright_infringement

there are actualy laws against this kind of stuff (unless he got authorized to do it)

in the case of authorized use then i guess leagal side is ok but still not very ethical or talented as i see things.

but what is talent or law in this days of downloading illeagal mp3 version of the latest shity v/a ha

if u cant see the point think of it in this way:
does a book writer sometimes use chapter of another book???? its ridiculous dont you think?
or movie using some tarantino scene lololol (ah there are , it called parody )

well, if you compare it to book writing or a movie then its irrelevant coz he didn't releae the track.

if it was released then i agree with you and its totaly ugly and bad (and unfortunatly it happens alot in this scene).

but in this case, he played the track only, actualy, he is promoting someone's else music... and many artists here wish that there music were played by other dj's, escpicially the famous of them (like eskimo...).

hehe, i wish my music would be played by many dj's ... its good feedback think about it.

{{and please guys don't talk about breaking copyrights here, coz first you need all to stop using Warez VST...).

anyway...

All you guys talking about copyrights infringement... i got a question for ya'll..

Like "psycho-italiano" said, how many of you have legally purchased your cubase or FL Studio or whatever software or VST you've used to make those killarghhhh tunes??

This is funny!! LOL.. i see so many artists in file-sharing, warez sites and I would not mention names here...

What if Eskimo stole a track and played in his live/DJ set...? The guy who's track was stolen aint complaining... why are you'll?

Respect to all artists who use genuine/legal software!           Om Trayambakam Yajaamahe
