I didn't even watch the Youtube movie, what bothers me in this topic, is the answer of this mk47 dude...

Man..

Artists that brought overseas to play live, usually expected to showcase their work, something they did at home, something they have composed. Never mind that the "live" usually is a full playback with no actual "live" we are used to it, and it is known that making a "real" live is a very problematic issue, and speaking from the crowd side, I am not sure I want to hear my favorite artist experimenting on stage, rather I would like him to kick my ass with a big and known tune of his.

SO

When ppl like you come and say it is COOL to play live music that is not yours.. You basically show that the scene you are belong to, is @ it's lowest.. How low can you go from there?

Think about it just for a second..           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

Well mate as far as I remember Junia doesn't do DJ sets..

It was your first reply that bothered me actually... If you really like this music, and the parties and the ppl in the scene, then try to care about it more - it's only mine opinion yeah... But I guess that it's connected the way the scene looks, and the way people care about it.           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

Eskimo steal Skazi's touch the not doing nothing fader

come on yuli , do you concider yourself connected by even 1% to this crap?
just since it called "trance scene"?

i reken eskimo dali and all this is nice joke that makes lots of moeny (wow possible that they are not joking and really like being that stupid just for the money?)

i can hear in your sounds that this is not your game

so we all use 4/4 kick goodie but still its far far worlds apart.
i bet you dont have much friends that like the commercial fullon neverending sweeps and that scream when eskimo is up on stage right?

music is connected alot to the person inside , i always thought so...

alot of trance people represent the plastic culture today
but some of them like in the begining have real connection to nature and loving hippie spirit

LIVE set doesn't mean it has to be ALL of their stuff (unreleased or not). A lot of times artists layer pieces of tracks together to create a new sound. Why does everyone feel the need to cry about this stuff? Were you even there? Did you pay to go/pay for him to come out? If none of those people cared, then why do you?           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

Well I don't know about this, but from my personal experience of more than 10 years on weekly basis of performing.. I haven't encountered artists performing live sets with some one else's music.

Ripping a short loop, without actual theme or melody, some sample that creates an effect or speech is totally cool. But playing out a whole or large part of a song created by someone else, is little too much for me.

And to your question why do I care? I don't... I can't care less about artists that doing this, and I didn't bother looking at the video actually.

What bothers me is your response, and people that respond like you. It makes me feel weird being part of it, that is all

ur missing the point completely dude , read what elad wrote .. thats basically my point too .. eskimo is horrible music , the fact that he`s stealing an intro or a track or whatever don't matter .. most peoples opinion of him wont change for the worse .. it`s bad enough as it is .. I for one certainly do not consider my self part of the same scene .. so what if its called `psytrance` popularly ..

u do seem to have a point tho , its not done stealing others work .. but like i said , nobody cares much for the eskimo variety of trance as I see it .. why do u ?

be cool

Anyone knows if theres any live coverband around in the psytrance scene?
I think its a great idea. A tributeband to Infected or something. I could dance to that. Saves a lot of money for the partyorganizers as well.

This makes absolutely no sense, we have DJs, who needs Lives?

About stealing a track, couldn't care less, the guy can play whatever he wants as long as he does not try to release it.

Weird vibes around this topic. IMHO everyone here at Isratrance is somehow connected with the scene. The scene is not Wonderland or "Happy World Land", there's some bad things about the scene too, just as there is bad things about the whole world. But we should not leave the psyscene because of that, instead we can do our small share, small steps towards what we want things to be, and at the same time enjoy the good side of the scene.

I think in the end this is an interesting topic, bashing Eskimo is soooo outdated, you should have come around in 2005 to do that.
What's next? Look, this guy stole a sample from Matrix!

Of course I don't enjoy his music these days, but think about it as a good time to go rest in the Chill space.
Respect!           .
