if anyones out there with an Analog Four wishing it could be played like a polyphonic synth, there is a workaround...

An OS update to A4 is also coming to give it poliphony and more storage memory for kits etc.

That being said AK looks impressive and the price might be too, rumors state something like 1760 euros.

But man it's super sexy.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

Sounds good and all, but I would get a MophoX4 that's also lots cheaper, before I splashed out on this.

Yeah or even just go the Mopho SE. For the price it's beautiful, really nice controls and bigger keyboard. I cam so close to getting it instead of my Sub Phatty but would prefer to wait for the time I can get a Prophet 12, it was amazing to play with in the shop and if I'm gonna get a DSI I might as well go all out.           Cuntus Maximus.

a4 is great value for money almost 300 per voice plus the powerfull sequencer, arp, fx and the cv track.

The keys is on the expensive side but I think it may be worth to have all that in a single KB.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

Machine Drum is very nice, I ordered one this week alon with Jomox Xbase which offers very nice kicks. I will lose hours. machine drum has a very clean sound, so if you want a dirtier more organic I guess sound might need to invest in some hardware fx to go with it.           Cuntus Maximus.

Each to their own. It's not great stand alone but I find with the machinedrum it works well. I could not justify the cost of the jomox 888 or 999. They don't have a good build or sound for the price. My only alternative was to spend the same amount on a modular drum system but it seems to complicated just for drum sounds.           Cuntus Maximus.

Played the keys at my local synth shop today. Absolutely stunning. I don't see it much in psy trance unless you're producing prog or ambient. It has much more of a house/techno vibe than anything trancey. I love it and it has replaced the Prophet 12 as my want for polyphony. Mainly because price wise it does an extraordinary amount, and with what's left from my savings for the Prophet 12 I'm going to get a Nord Lead 2x.
