For me the best organizing team in Athens over the past year are Psyacoustics, who's attempt to enter the Athenian scene with big events, is remarkable and at he same time they don't behave like a "big fish".
Much smaller but big in my perception, although they haven't done many parties, are Utopic Reality.
Much soul, good vibe, as close as possible to the trance culture and philosophy, overcomming the atmosphere of indoor nightclubs.
The worst for me is Detox's team known as the Cube, because although they invite well respected artists in big venues, they do parties too often (without leaving space for other teams to breathe), they have a competitive behaviour against other organizers -by making parties simoultaneously- and their philosophy is not relevant with the trance scene. Additionally and more importantly, they 're bound to the dark forces of the night, encouraging them to treat party people like rubbish.

i don't think it's appropriate to defame ppl in public forums... and worse, making a topic for this..
u may support whomever u like, and say the best things but the opposite i think it's just bad tasted...
i'd like this topic as 'Best party organizers in Athens', plain and simple 
it's strictly my opinion, and i see this will be locked sooner or later

Pico Bianco has a point and we totally agree.
The point is not who is the best and who is the worst.
i suggest you change the topic discussing what we need to have better party's (organisation etc...);) |

i think its ok to hear not only the good things but the bad also... because people don't have only good words to say but bad also, for the organizing teams.. shouldn't it be heard? |

Psyacoustics definetely the one and only first and then the cube but not in all cases ....
psyacoustics have managed to have nice venues, deco, sound and above all nice music from the beginning of the party till the end... not as others that they have one Big name and then the chaos is coming

kapsis is right.make this topic a chance for all promoters to spot any mistakes and fix it.critique is not a bad thing as long as it is made with no harming intentions.of course not everybody can be satisfied ,but even if some small evolve occurs,then this is a worthy topic.and do not restraign only in athens organizers,make it more generall.i am editing the title of the topic

Sort out a P.A. team for hiring in order to have a decent sound at parties. I haven't been to too many parties since I came back home, but the P.A. situation in Greece is dreadful.
I ain't saying there should be Function One rigs all around, but at least something decent. I am sure that a lot of people like a great deco, but getting a good sound should be a priority.
I am not going to go into the whole, who should be booked, conversation, but I got to go to a Kox Box gig this year (or was it end of '07?) in Athens, so I am content

Critisism and suggestions or complaints are always welcome BUT only when this comes from unbiased persons who state real facts and not just things who created into their dizzy minds.
And you dear Natmag are neither unbiased or objective and for sure the things that you say are not facts but just creations of your imagination.
You said that The Cube does events too often and doesnt give space to other teams to breath.

Correct me if i am wrong but i think with my poor mathematics knowledge that 6 and 7 are both bigger than 5.By the way are 5 parties in 5 months a lot?One party every month is too much you think?
And i havent included all the free parties at Polytechnioupoli supported by various of these teams both in terms of promotion and djs and artists,then the numbers would get even bigger for most of the teams with The Cube NOT being one of them just for your info.
You said something about unfair and competitive competition,in my mind competitive competition (in its negative meaning) is when free parties get announced on the same dates that other teams have announced parties in clubs,the team that has faced the most this competition (and especially in the last 2 years) is by far The Cube team but we never complained about it in public so it is at least nasty from your side to claim in public that we organise our parties on the same dates with other teams because simply thats not true.If you got any different facts i dare you to provide them in public.
Find some answers/facts for these two issues that YOU mentioned and then we can also speak about trance philosophies and if we are with the dark or the light forces or whatever.
Talking in general is cheap,speak with facts or remain silent and leave other people to judge us.
Enough with the jokers behind nicknames in this forum,time for the masks to fall.

A truly UNIQUE team!

My point of view is that the best team is the one who has the best human potential:
People who truly love music.
People who truly love playing music.
People who truly love hearing music.
People who truly love parting.
People who truly love dancing.
People who are noble, kind ,honest,humble.
People who know the meaning of the world celebration.
The party people are HUMANS and not ALIENS or CUSTOMERS.
The organizers should also be HUMANS and not ALIENS or MERCHANTS.
Yes it does matter if someone is your friend but it does also matter if someone is letting you to be
your friend...
p.s.1: It is obvious and on purpose that i didn't mention anywhere the MONEY factor.

p.s.3:Take a look at the course of mythological level teams like Sunrise Zone>CyberFunk or Trancemedia>TranceAlliance. They are not exist anymore. Their human potential is lost somewhere and the most important thing is that no one wants to find them or even remember them... They claimed that they created the psychedelic scene in Greece but the TRUTH is that the PARTYPEOPLE and their SOULS created it. These teams were only able to destroy it.

I think that this topic is totally useless.
We can all recognise each team's aim..whether they work for money or for the music and the scene they love.
Pesonally, I fully respect VoidNetwork people..

I'm starting to confuse because I have the feeling that some ppl they don't know what they want.As we all know we have different teams in athens some of them make good parties some of them no.When we have a real good party with well known artists in a big venue some say ''they do it for the money'' in the other side when we have a bad party in a small place with unknown dj's some say ''they don't know from parties''.So guys choose what you really want as you see some teams spend REAL money for the scene and some teams don't spend we can't have them all.As about for the parties you must be happy for having many parties independently for tha same dates.When we don't have parties at all we made coplaints.
So the meaning for me is having good time at parties dancing,drinking,communicate with others,make new friends and show with your needs what you want from the organizer to give you.
The best think is all of us to give suggestions to the teams for what we really want from them(for example good security,good and cheap drinks,good soundsystem)if I have all this I don't have the promblem to give a high price time because it probably deserve it so it no good to make good or bad critisism if we don't know what really happens.And last someone say for the old teams like sunrize zone,cyberfunk I must reminds you that they spend a lot of time and money to make some ppl to learn the music and make them dance.thanks for reading my long and maybe for some boring post.
