Hey gadi, just got your PM ... check yours, it would be great to hook up that weekend

About Aria and Astral I don't recommend anyone to show up just for that. I was playing there once at a night where astral was supposed to play and they cancelled last minute because plane ticket were not el-al but air canada. The club owner was really pissed and I don't think he has very good relationship with them so I wouldn't risk to make a 7hour ride just for that. I'm actually very surprised to see he booked them again, lets hope this time will be the good one.

Anyways, who need Astral when you have Dado, Astirx and Ticon day after.

I really had a great time at eclipse. It was my first time in quebec, and i have to say its quite an interesting place... The music was bumpin all night and I stayed until monday morning cuz i was too beat to drive back on sunday. thank god for the lake, cuz sunday was MAD HOT! anyway, i had good times psytrancing my ass off and bonding with a bunch of French-Canadian ravers

My first Eclipse party and what A kick-ass time inspite of the last minute change in location and no Deedrah!

First Montreal is a great city. Laid back, super friendly people, very little commercialism as compared to the US, very good nightlife. Astral Projection performed the night before in downtown!

The location for Eclipse changed last minute but still I thought the organisers did a pretty good job of finding this location. There were thunderstorms the whole day before the party right up to the night of the party itself! Many people I know thought that the party might get cancelled because it was really pouring for a long time...but Inspite of that everyone seemed to have turned up which was fantastic!!! The rain stopped around 12:00 at night and the weather was beautiful throughout the next day...

The stage and dancing area was setup nicely with great artwork and partial covering on top so that in the morning when it got scorching you could be well protected or in the sun if you wanted! I thought this was great as most festivals I have been to just leave the dancing area completely unprotected. There was a lake just a few steps away and the water temprature was perfect!

But what did it for me was the sound system and the quality of music! The sound system was INSANE!!! And I dont mean just loud...but the clarity and quality of sound. Every track sounded wonderfully clear and just the right amount of levels of bass, mids and trebles. The sound came through so so clean. This was one rare party where I thought that all the artists and DJ's were top notch all the way through!! Ticon was AWESOME, with live filtered vocals ... all the local and other DJ's played super psytrance too ...

I think my only complaint would be that I was hoping to see Astrix play in the late night as originally planned instead of mid-day , but I think there was something up with his flight. It was still great, though many people were on their way out by then...

Oh and the fire dancers were very cool!! There were so many of them and they really knew their stuff...

BOOM!

this was my first time raving in canada and my first outdoor rave in north america! despite all the hiccups i had a great time and would love to do it again... astrix blew my head open! his set was one of the best i've ever heard... regarding him being an "asshole" i think that's a very unfair judgement... he seemed to be "looking" at the people fine... don't judge someone you don't know - especially when he brings so much energy for you to enjoy! psytrance is about love and expression - not being judgemental... and i'm actually very glad he showed up late... dancing under the scorching sun to the sounds of astrix was the highlight of my experience...

it was quite a trip raving with so many quebec-ians... i met some really nice people - although i should learn some french before next time so i can communicate a little better! the only complaint was that it felt more like a fun trance party as opposed to a psychedelic mind trip... hopefully next time it will be more TwIsTeD!!!!! but nonetheless it was fun... i haven't danced so hard in months! i used every muscle in my body... i was unstoppable for like 5 hours! everytime i tried to relax my body forced me to keep going... what a release!

I had a blast at this party. PUNKADELIK !!! wow, it blew my mind, the highlight of the party for me. Props to the promoters that had to put up with a lot of shit the week before the party (change of venue, Deedrah canceling, Ticon that forget his cd’s, Dino missing his plane and Astrix who screwed up everyone).

It was nice to meet Surrender and Nova … hope you guys had a good time too. About Astrix this guy is a total looser and believe me I know what I am talking about. I won’t start making a list of all the ridiculous things he did and said but this guys sucks big time… no respect for that. So unprofessional, he scrapped 2 plane tickets Mr didn’t show up at the airport and he finally showed up at the party at 12pm when he was supposed to play prime time the night before and to top all of that plays only a 45 min live. He seems a lot more preocupied about his perfume and his haircut then his live act.

This guy makes great music, but that’s no reason to act like that … shame on him. Personally I would be very surprised to ever see any other hom-mega artist in Montreal, their management is just too unprofessional.

What a great party! It was wonderful to be back in the beautiful Quebec countryside partying with good friends I hadn't seen in over a year. And it was so nice seeing so many new faces too...was glad to meet you Gadi and Nova! It was truly an international gathering. And I must commend the passion, professionalism and dedication of the Tech Safari crew for making it all happen despite everything. Never have I heard of so many things going wrong in one event...out of 4 headliners, one was sick, one missed his plane, another missed 2 planes(shame on you Asstrix), the one that came forgot his cd's AND the owner of the original site broke contract so they had to change locations last minute. AND they had to set up everything while it was pissing rain...and yet, despite everything, Eclipse happened, people came and danced and had a fantastic time. Now THAt's spirit! A huge thank you to Tech Safari and friends and to everyone who came to support them! Hope to see you all at Eclipse 2005! Jayme
