Yersterday ,very good party at this location
Pure Filth @ the M.J Higgins Gallery 244 S.Main ST in Downtown L.a.
Next tuesday it is going to be the last party there,highly reccomanded if you are in LA area.

i think its the 1st time some1 mixed up dance music/d'n'b/hip hop/reggae/dub...
which more or less is the definition of what "they" came up with to whats called dubstep nowdays...
so seems like the roots are a bit earlier then the 2000s

Uhhh... this is just from what I've read and heard, but I thought as dubstep came out of the uk garage scene, horsepower productions was one of the first labels to produce dubstep around 2000-2001.
It has a much more garage-y feel too.
But I'm not an authority. I think wiki has the whole history.  |

i can easly copy paste my last post into wiki... so i whouldnt call it either a proper authority, since i believe that it already got copy pasted from sites/forums/blogs that exsit to promote something or someone...

some of it is amazing...but most of it is really boring...sometimes sounds like someone who is programming his first drum beat ever...same problem of most dance/electronic music during this flooded days.

You need to spend a considerable amount of time to find good Dubstep/Grime, but when you find it...what a feeling!!!
