It really depends what sort of vibe you are up for.
check the latest stuff by Goth Trad
http://www.myspace.com/gothtrad
Also there is this super cool compilation called BAD.It shopuld be out in few weeks.
San Francisco Area producers.Very nice vibe ranging from organic to grimey.
Actually I have got here the press release
-----------------------------------------------------------
Bay Area Dubstep volume 01 contains 14 unmixed tracks by San Francisco area dubstep and grime artists.
From the deep ethnic stylings of Djunya (native japanese), JuJu and D Program, to tech-dub of Eskmo and The Antiserum, from the grimey orchestrations of MBZ and the live hardware sounds of Albert Joseph, Atomikdog and Zapper, to the roots style of Matty G and Roomate, each and every track is a chronicle(=journey) to this contemporary musical artform called "Dubstep".

Just saw Ital Tek live here in Denmark a couple of days ago. Without a doubt one of the best live experiences of the year. Really heavy beats, whopping LFO's and hyper intelligent use of percussion to give the entire set breakcore'ish elements and a twisted dynamic flow. People were bouncing around all over the place
Oh, and check out appleblim's track vansan. It's out on scull disco. Fabulous dubstep! |
