I really dont know what you all are smoking out there but it must be loads better than the stuff we have in the US... This cover album is like most "Cover" albums. Really not all that good. Pink Floyd is just one of those bands you can not do covers of IMHO. Pink floyd wrote one of the greatest albums of all time. This is just a washed up ganga take on Dark Side. Sory folks but this album would have been much better without the crappy half baked vocals that ruin this cd. Live in a divy bar for 5$ this would be fun however save your money if you are a fan of the real Pink Floyd. This is for casual fans of radio friendly crap.

Ah Justin... Perhaps it is not ok to post so so reviews in your world. My review is not a guide to all music. Just one opinon on one album that to me was not all that great. Thats what this web site is all about. This was in no way a personal attack on you. A range of opinions and veiwpoints is heathy in life. I will however let you get back to the qwhole rest of your life now. =)

For fucks sake amanita, thats a low blow.
Listen to the album again and tell me why something similar to what you like, and very well done at that, is not worthy of a listen...
And the singings great!

I cant stand 'music blasphemists.'           Within this timeless gathering,
a shining light does dance,
lost from conscious memory,
but visible in trance!

It`s a fantastic record!!!
Sorpressive,gentle,well produced.
What else???
Besides,it`s quite hard to realize the fact that it`s a cover album.

the first time I listened to the album I liked it a lot. I also liked the idea/concept of the album. but after a few listens I started to get bored. I dont think this album is really special. Just my own idea.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

Hi, I don't mean to quote you just because your the all mighty Ott. =)
But this is for me a huge quality incurrence. I will defiantly try to get this album. .. But my reason for quoting is this. I really think that you should do similar things later on in your career. I would love to hear a "Pink Floyd IN DUB - Mixed By OTT" album. I mean, the way you used the Pink Floyd guitars in (example) "Angelic particles (Buckminster mix)" is pure genius, and might I use the word bliss? In fact, I would like to see you Dub remix more psychedelic artists. hehe, make it into a series.

(One can always dream right?)

Keep up the good work

I'm ordering the album as I'm writing this. It costs:

Subtotal: $13.99
Shipping and Handling: $13.36
Gift Wrap: $0.00
Tax: $0.00
TOTAL: $27.35

Is it just me, or is the shipping way to expencive? 27.35 US seems a bit to much for one CD sendt from the US. But maybe it's just me?

Edit: Ah, of cource. it's the same shipping expences if I buy 10 albums as if I buy just one. Ok. .. Still though. CD is on it's way

it does sound expensive
I got a CD from US with a special delivery guy - and it didn't cost that much... ~9$           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

I am responsible of the re-appearance..

As next week, I'll go to see them performing it live.. So maybe you consider it crap, and I have never played any song from that album in a chilled set (although I'm playing some reggae sometimes) but i'm pretty sure it will be a cool concert !
