im with u guys on this one and ones:)
i did it every week for some years beack to my army and kid age:)
first it changed me so much i didnt got reality at all "hi ba seret":)
second i realy didnt enjoyed it at all (all the kinds) coze it was one big overdose..
now, 5 years after, after i did a pause of two year tottal free of chemistry lessons:) and back to it from time to time (and in VERY small dose 1/16) it enough to me to feel it better then when it was every week work...
also i released that some joint and good music put me EXACTLY at that point that i reached with all the micrograms - trance.
less u do, better u feel, its a rule.

i live trance but i never take drugs and never going to take drugs trance is what is making me high and ppl that take drugs just tell them enjoy it cause this is their own choosing

enjoy one joint every evening, during the whole week, and its fucking hard to get rid off it.
i dont do "drugs" (i only smoke hehe) at all. first becoz i dont need it to have fun and to enjoy the music...i can feel it deep inside me without chemicals. second becoz i dont like those real stoned partypeople...its just impossible to speak with them.
coz i go to parties to dance, to meet nice ppl and to enjoy everything...the music, the ppl, the athmosphere....this is a true trance expirience.

traveller, you can say they're bad for you.
if they're doing good to someone, and he doesn't have a problem with the health risk so i think drugs are more than good (for that same guy).

ok , to the main topic now ... most of the drugs samples fit the tracks , and basicly i find it very natural that so many samples of that kind are used , after all trance culture is really connected to psychedelic drugs , as bad as it is , but facts are facts ... btw , the sample Shahar gave is one of my absolute favorites , well , the responsibility on Tristan's shoulders ":)
many right things ppl mentioned here about drugs ... i'll put my 5 cents also .. i like the way drug influence ppl . i like when ppl chatting non stop , happy as mad , full of energy (lets say i took the good values of exz) , the way of experience of reality on lsd , the sound one experiences being smoked ... it sounds harsh , but i would like some many ppl surrounding me live their life in state of "under influence" ... BUT , the price drugs take is hard .. and no matter how light it is , drug is drug ... bad trips , well , i had a luck only to hear about this (both me and my friends went out succesfully) .. but from the personal experiance , i can state that it really dry ur mind in the long run , taking ur memory with no refund ,dumb ur feelings ... all the things that seem to be oposite while ur on it ... to be moderate ? well , that's what is left ... btw , u may chose ur own life , life with drugs ... in case u don't need a sharp mind , not so many duties , minimum of responsibilities ...
last one despite/inspite all written above , still , i like listening to trance smoked ... just can't help it

drug taking is in my view a very personal and subjective thing. substances arent bad per se just cos they can do harm. psychedelics are relatively safe drugs, the percentage of ppl who get fucked up permanentely is very small. and if ppl are turning psychotic its often cos they act as trigger.
a big problem is that cos of prohibition u never really know what kind of substance u are going to take. u know barely nothing about the quality and inferior drug quality is often the reason for bad experiences imo.
than there are some basic rules that everyone has to consider. just two words: set and setting.
drug users should be honestly informed about the drugs and their dangers. if someone wants to take drugs its his personal thing and he shouldnt be criminalized for that. its very arrogant from our gov. to forbid to take drugs. there is no real reason for doing that. a lot of drug related problems in our society stems in my view from prohibition.
drugs can do some good and do some bad, and its a very thin line between do good and do bad to ones personality...

I read all these Msgs, and i must say I Agree with most of the things said, I personally Agree with weed (and would love to try it after the army...), but quite not dig the chem-drugs. as ppl said - u can never know when u'll return from the trip (that is if u ever get back), i hink it's just don't worth it.
I generally don't think that the early track names were commercial (Hallucinogen-LSD, and those from the same age), but it did become quite trendish to use Psy-drugs or at least bullshit about using them. and i really don't think that someone wll hear a sample in a track and go use LSD - (Too rash for me... ), Anyway, to sum it ALL up-
Roll A Giant one For Me!! (But Keep it for 3 yrs...)

trance wouldn`t have got to where it is without drugs .... and it certainley not the main cause 4 it....
music and drugs were always tied togheter ...ce la v.....
do whatever u like as long as u do it to yourself and don`t harm others in the process.....
