This will be my last post on the subject, because this is what I honestly believe, and I'm starting to give up on the fact that people are listening.

Some people feel that they have to preach to the rest of the world, so we can learn from their holy rightous asses how to act, since they're better people than we are. Really, if we wouldn't be brain damaged drug addicts, that stole money from their parents in order to get another hit, dropped out of school and ended up giving blowjobs for crack, maybe we would understand these enlightened people.

Or maybe people can't understand that they might NOT be the lighthouse for the rest of the people. Maybe other people KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. Maybe that concept is difficult to accept with the media blitz against trance (against ACDC, against Led Zepplin, The Beatles, The Doors, David Bowie, the entire Jazz/Funk era, those damn beatniks, Beehtoven and Mozart, all corrupting the youth... hell, "holech vepochet hador" is a qoute from the bible). No, most drug users aren't children. Most children that use drugs do not steal. That's associated with addiction - while LSD has been proven not to be physically addictive OR psychologically so in most cases.

We can believe it, or we can believe that maybe we need to make our own mistakes, learn from our own experience, and maybe, just maybe, the people speaking against this phenomenom were no better than us at that age. Kids will be kids, people will rebel against authority (don't need Leary to lead the way for that), drug usage was always there, just the music blamed for it changed.

Stereotypes make life easier to understand, but really, look a bit deeper than that and see that the trance culture and it's people are a lot deeper than the ecstasy and acid they supposedly take. Maybe, the search for a different way of life than our parents' and the neighbors' (which may or may not include drug usage) is a very deep quest, not a simple hedonistic outburst.

"The old order changeth, yielding place to new
And God fulfils himself in many ways,
Lest one good custom should corrupt the world." -Tennyson, The Passing of Arthur.

so here i am posting again:

The point of this thread was how to make things better for all of us as a part of the Trance culture. Drugs are good for some ppl and bad for others. For sure no one can tell you what is good or bad, you decide it by your self no matter if it is addictive or not, like Asaf said.
Still I know for sure that most of the dealers are associated within with House music, so who the hell made this argument, Trance and drugs goes hand in hand!
No killing within the parties, no rape associated, almost no fights (although that unwelcome visitors tried to bang with the security), so why?

And money is not everything in the world, why should you pay 100 NIS - 150 NIS for something that you paid in the past only half or third?

I think this disscussion goes a lot deeper.
I specify ANY drug use as i would any way of life - doing what u do and liking it or vice versa.

You can be a spoiled fuck who smokes a bud once a month and feel crap about himself and die missrebale or a typical "acidhead" who nukes himself at parties for whole of his life and loving every minute of it.

It all comes to summing up your life, drugs are a tool, an advanture, nature's creation (at the source for some of them).

About the "mesibot samim" aka acid parties topic which is a whole diffrent subject ill just say i justify the police because face it or not - the trance scene

A. Is the scene which does the most underground events, many of them in public places without authorization.

B. Say what you say those underground parties hold more drugs then any average party in any other scene and a lot of dealers are cought in those parties.

Police wants to stop drugs and a large percentage of the scene does support drugs a simple 1+1.

Make the best out of life, with or without drugs or trance or sex or anything :)
