Hod, then you are a rare thing.
99% of the people will not even bother to get a free cd from a store when they can get it for free without having to get up from their chair.

Mike A, why people buy video games when they can get the roms?

why do people buy books/tutorials when they can get it for free from the internet?

cd's are just too expensive!           u can find "Anything U Want" using the search...

oh come on, check psyshop and most online stores, 9.4$ ... 10 $ or 11$ for a cd!!!

i'm still paying 18 euro's for a cd at my local recordstore just to support them!!!! (they are the only 100% psy recordstore in belgium) you can now get twice the amount of cd's for the price i pay(ed) !!!

if you have a computer, and smoke tobacco, and enjoy an occasional drink, and still claim cd's are to expensive, i'm not going to waste time trying to convince you.

if 10$ isn't a reasonably price for a cd, what is????           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Get a free 250Mb Artist profile, Blog and events calender!

Nice to hear..
I also think it's a step in the right direction...

But I also think the quality of the music should be improved.. I also sometime download a whole album but I have my own devine rule about it:

IF I listen to 2 or more tracks of the downloaded album more then 3 Times, I go and buy it.

This happens almost never, mostly i listen to it twice and never again...
Instead of listening the CD in a store, I listen to them at home.

Believe it or not: I follow that rule..
Also because, if it's REALLY beautifull music I want to have the CD cover and booklet in my hands.

So why should I buy if the music is just like a macdonalds package.. made to listen once or twice? If I just don't like it?
There is just to much music around which is only "ok" or "not bad" or "good on a 50000W PA"..

Mainstream or smallscene, no difference.. why should young people buy roby williams cds if each song sounds like the other?
Or new full on psy if you can hardly distinguish the different artists or tracks?

People have allways been bored by uninovative, ungenuine and soulless music, the CDburner just gave everybody the chance to express it.
To spend as much as its worth for music who is overused after a month.

IMHO          Most of my music for you to download at:

I think the prices are very good, I get a cd online for about 103Nkr with shipping .. (about 12.5Euro)

If I buy a cd in a normal shop in Norway I have to pay 180-190Nkr (even more if it is "imported")... (22.5 Euro)

Almost half price, and thats WITH shipping ...

Dont like to download much anymore, its more fun to listen to 1 or maybe 2 new cd`s every month (rather than get 10-20cds every week ...)            3o~ kriz aka krize 3o~ ....Horrordelic Records.... http://www.horrordelic.com

If shipping is such a high cost for you, why not team up with some friends and do bulk orders! this way you can easely lower the shipping costs if you can order many cd's at the same time.           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Teaming up with friends and ordering more CD's at the same time is a good idea. Me and a friend of mine ordered 16 full-lenght CD-albums from Psyshop.com last week and it costed 207 euros total (including taxes and shipping to Finland), which makes 13 euros a piece.
13 euros a record is IMHO definitely not much, especially when I'm used to paying 20 euros a piece when I buy stuff at my local store.
On a more personal level I very seldom consider price being the issue when I buy music (I don't download or copy music at all), a good record is something that I could pay up to 40 euros for easily while a bad record is something that I wouldn't buy even if it costed 1 euro.

Cheers,
