I don't agree with the Absolum-part. I've been following his releases from the very beginning (Metalizer EP, Wild) and he's simply evolving, finding his sound and evolving his unique and innovative sound. Just check the evelopment from 'No Rush' to 'Hadracadabra'. Every track before this "new sound" is a foundation for the new times. He's taking every little part of his core-elements, evolving it and I believe the best lies ahead of us. (Also, Transwave and Absolum are two different artistnames... his work shouldn't be compared like that.)
I think Absolum is the most innovative project in the harder Full On-scene - there's no one a like nor none with same quality of sound, amazing details, builds and production. yeah baba ..i think i was wrong there but still feels like his first album was very very good compared to funraiser ..
but funraiser is a very good album . great production ...only thing is there r a lot more morning moments although intense

Well... I think that artists that dont change there style are pussys. Its easy to find 1way to make music then to stick to it forever. |

The most drastic change was made by Hujaboy: From 'Hujajoy' to 'Sonic tonic'. ohhhh......  how I miss the Hujajoy sound. Usually when artist switch styles or began to make other project; they change their name in order to separate. It wasn't dun by Nir Shoshani ( I am not talking about E-ject) but its cool to.

people claim that, but I cant really agree.
- The Gathering and Classical Mushroom = same style.
B.P Empire = Original style, more adult, groovy and intelligent.
Converting Vegiterian = 1 original (other side) and one trance disc. IM The Supervisor is more like The Trance Side then you know. So I think IM have 3 styles puplished in albums so far.
1. The Gathering & Classical Mushroom
2. B.P Empire
3 Converting Vegiterians & IM the Supervisor (Not counting Other Side)
Some people should do like Simon Postford and produce "different" music styles under different names. Infected has imo ruind it's proud name. sad.

Jaia has def. changed for the better with Fiction. Changes like that I dont mind...
But the likes of Skazi,GMS,IM,Astral ...
I loved OTT's brief experiment as Hikikomori! More artists like those and I dont think anyone will be compaining. |
