I only review albums I really like, so i must like this one!
It's a comp from Domo, a label that seems to have a taken a very progressive turn with this one. They have chosen a Swiss dj, dj shybe, to put this comp together, and judging by his track selection i would say they made a very good choice!!

1 V-Tunes- Dancer
2 Export audio - Sexy angel
3 Freq vs Spherical - Bit Shifter
4 Psyless Groove - Rattlesnake Hills
5 Insane Creation - Ksesa
6 Shaman - Electro Swordswing
7 Sven Snug - Pink Donut
8 Sensifeel - Back to the future
Bonus track:
9 Antix - Free as we are (BLT RMX)

Overall, I think this is the best progressive comp released this year, with the sole exception of Iboga's puzzled. It reminds me of the plusquam release widescreen, not so much in the sound, but in the feeling that you have a bunch of tunes out of a top dj's unreleased bag that are all worth playing out. There are so many good tracks I don't know where to start. V-Tune makes an impressive debut, Export Audio is super-groovy-chicks-moving-their-super-sexy hips music, while Freq, Shaman, and Sensifeel lay down three dance floor bombs. These last three are in that realm of "noisy psychedelic progressive" that will work just about anywhere, i.e. big ones!!

The overall sound ranges from the more underground interzone feel to the more rocking end of plusquam/iboga. The only track that sounds out of place to me is the BLT rmx, but that's jusy a bonus track at the end for those who missed it before, so I can't complain.

In other words, you gotta buy this one. Tell them at the store I told you so:)

best of luck domo!

sorry to say this but yet another boring, safe progressive compi with the same sounds and feel to every track. All the big proggy labels are starting to sound the same...look at the last compilations from domo, iboga, plusquam, tatsu etc...safe, boring and predictable, a few dub chords here, some delay percussion there...nothing challenging deep thinking about it. Take some risks please!

"The Swiss connection is one of the best compilation this year... and

1. V-tunes "Dancer"...sweet and nice begining, this track introduce good the style of the Cd...

2.Export audio "Sexy Angel"...Pff the compilation is started..ouh la! the angels are becoming sexy....

3.Freq & Spherical "Bit shifter"... Freq usually doesn't make mistake with the music he do...thanx for opening our minds...

4.Psyless Groove "Rattlesnke Hills"...Cool and groovy track..still giving the dreams

5.Insane creation "Ksesa"...the only track which missed some groove but still ok...

6.Shaman "Electro swordswing"...may be one of my favourit track on the compilation, groovy, pumpy, and so trippy...

7.Sven Snug "Pink Donut"...Like usually, Sven still one of artists references...

8.Sensifeel "Back to the future"... Sensifeel is my favourit artist actually; all his released are nice and this one is his best released...thnx Domo records...This track remember us why the trance is so good... and

9.Antix "Free as we are" BLT remix...The original version was so nice and BLT bring his vibes and now it's better nice...

Thanx Domo
