Ohh Ido… thanks man! )

Probably you point to my direct problem. All your words were pleasure to read, you right man.

I always ask such questions: how they do it? But never stop on that, its help me to understand more and more. It’s the way to learn my self … First to understand, then to innovate, and last to satisfy the results (witch is happen vary seldom ).

Thanks, you told that I can’t make sound the same, but direct to excellent plugs such us URS, or Gliss Eq (Before I try Curve Eq so don’t give attention to gliss, but its really handly), and also dominion and others digitalfishphones plugs I like a lot.
Of course I understand that no one can’t make the same, and it’s not necessary. The things is in some tips of production and sound style, I like yours a lot. Especially how kickbass work with percussion, best I had hear for my opinion.
When I listening all your tracks I decided that there are no sub in bass. The reason that I don’t get how you cut the sub freqs like 30hz. Because when I put some dc filter at 20 to 40hz subs is going out but its add new harmonics to 70-150hz. Waveforms of bass become the same, but spectrum shows that working bass freqs like 49hz with same level as 90 hz, but if I will eq 90hz a lot its change all bass sound. Probably I don’t know how to work with sub hreqs and eqing right. Will learning more and more…

Thanks man! Keep rocking more! and more! You are big master!

hey domestic ,

thanks for all your advices. their quite valuable its not often a dude like you would come and give good advices like that. which did help me quite a lot since your post on compression and eq. anyway i was hoping you'd be nice enough to explain the advantage of sampling your bass. I'm quite happy with my basses (i layer with albino) the bass sound fat and precise at the same time. I just wonder what could i get out of sampling it and also what is the process.
by the way i really enjoyed the last antiworld festival i came to see ticon but i did enjoy the fullon room wonder why eskimo didn't show up.

Sampling will allow you to choose the waveform with the best attack as opposed to triggering your bass from midi..

This insures that the bassline will be consistent & tight..

As for how to go about it i guess you can just bounce several long notes & then check them out in the wave editor to see which has the best attack..You can even shape the envelope to choice & when you're happy with the sound just load it into your sampler..           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

Exactlly!

the thing is most of the synths are just not accurated at low frequencies and most of them just change from 1 note to another so thats why its good to sample and choose the best note , but thats only if yr synth is not stable enough like most of them .

if u use a synth that is stable like cronox2
than u dont need to sample and thats even better cuz u can allways go back and change the settings.

i use cronox2 alot without sampling it , its very good for basses , reminds the esm a bit but just 100% stable, though the esm is phatter and more natuaral sounding.           .ParadoX Rocks.

Sampling for bass is great. Mostly its not used as a melody and we need bassline to be stable and 100% identical in each pattern.
Thats why its better to sample it. Howeve it depends on what you want to create.

Thanks Ido!

Hmm.. and how do you go about it exactly, do you sample each note? Coz if you just sample one note (i mean if you just pick the note which has the best attack) and load it into the sampler, doesn't it change the length of the note, making it longer at deeper pitches and shorter at higher ones?

..or do you just sample each note several times and pick out the best one of each?          ° °

It is... you just have to make sure you set the oscillators to retrigger.. you can make some really sharp bass sounds with it.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
