Is this the Cosmosis track? I only heard it once (and didn't like it) but it sounds like it as it uses the same 2001 Space Odyssey theme. If this is a rip-off of Cosmosis, ten it is very very sad indeed.

yeah..... you got the point bro..... i don't remember a organizer that want to be a dj doing something like that..... that's REALLY a bad thing, imagine your work been copied and the person simply puts his name and in the place of yours, that are the real author...... if you have some doubt listen the two songs....... it's a fu***ng copy..... no, it's not a copy, it's THE cosmosis song called human evolution with the name V. I. R. U. S. in the place of the name COSMOSIS.....

In my experience, the people that shout PLUR the loudest are the ones that stick to it the least. Why does anyone need an acronym to describe normal decent behaviour anyway? It seems very suspicious to me.

that's why i think this is one of the most hypocrite things that i ever heard........

Yes I do but I don't think it is really worth worrying about it too much. Just do the best you can to give people your positive take on things and leave the scum do what they do best. Just spread the word to the people willing to listen and ignore the crap.

yeah..... i try to forget that bad things almost all the times i read or se some bad things...... but sometimes i think that some things must be cleared up....... for a better scene...... and sometimes too i get so upset that i simply want to shout it out loud for everyone listen (in that case, read)

i don't have nothing against israeli psy trance, i can't say that i like the style of many israeli projects but i respect the ones who like and do it (if they have a good character, of course... if not i ignore them)...... but there r veeeeery good ones there...... of course..... if i didn't told that i would be considered a liar.....

i wanted to bring something like this up anyway and i guess this is agood thread...I'm quite sad about the increasing degeneration of the scene here in Goa , India...instead of being a psy-paradise it is turning into a commercial techno hang out spot. no offence to anyone...but I think more and more, the spirit of trance is kinda getting muddied. damn

"Just want to add something:
Image how our scene would work and how the music quality would increase if every one of the 10.000 drug-consuming trancers would spend ONLY 5 € of their 15 € drug-budget for buying cds. This would be an sales-impact of 50.000 € for distributions, labels, artists, and all connected people."

i understand what your saying but...
what would that really do besides make things even more commercial and increaseing the problem noted in the original post?

I believe this is a society problem, this kinky fashion-seeking consuming society we have nowadays almost everywhere.. I see the comercial swamp growing here in Portugal too, but I think different about it. It's real, it's needed, it's good
Why? because now lots of people come to trance parties, scream for the "repeated" hits, show-off their new clothes and behave like club-seducers, and it had to be this way. But these people will follow another fashion wave in the near future and the psy culture people, now offended and sad, will grow their believes and motivation to regenerate and purify the scene, as I see in free partys and in the words of lots of people that post in this forum.
So, why fight this problem if it will go away and it's making us stronger and more focused in what we aim and like? Have some fun in life!!! (Frank E.) this pop time will bring more genuine people to trance, even if they come with wrong ideas, and everyone can give their own example and simply live!

@slyman
Good question. It wouldnt stop the commercial evolution which allready happen.
See: We are talking about commercialisation here, this means we are talking about money.
Money is nothing else than a liquid stream of water. Its moving permanently. The question is: To with location is it streaming, now.
Is it like a cycle, so the stream stays inside of our scene? In this case it will be hold in good hands in a beautiful place, flowers will have the chance to grow at the lake which is also growing more and more.

Or, is it streaming away because their are some minds which want to to tap into the stream? In this case, their would be no lake. Their would be just desert at the end, no flowers, no animals. Just flowers in the garden of the ones who suck out all the water from the cycle.

A little bit methaphoric, but this is the point. We cant stop commercialisation in a musicscene which is getting bigger more and more, but we can all take care with it with responsibility.

I agree with you kitnam, wise words!
Money is only the issue for the people who care about it, and those people will only get money's respect, not ours and time will make the road of true psy spirit clearer again, in the end of this (quick) cycle.

My opinion of course

Have fun,

about money...
deny it, hate it, accept it....

we all need it...its not fair to rob artiste's off their share of it. IMO, loading music off the net is okay, but only if the artiste' hasent been able to deliver a good album, with only one or two tracks worth the effort. if the entire album is beautiful, we should show respect tothe artiste and actually buy it. strictly my opinion only.

Totally agree if the album is good i'll definately buy an original it's my share of paying the artist for his great efforts! I do not mind buying a good cd i only mind buying a crappy one!

Free partys!!
Thats the answer!!
In my country, free partys are getting often, with only portuguese dj's off course..
The partys are smaller, but more familiar..
it's easy to make friends, ant to interact with other people, and there isn't the pressure of making money.A bar selling some beers, waters, chai, it's enough to pay the expenses, and everybody gets a good time!
Thats the way we dance-lovers should take!
Thats my way to fight commercialism..
