i agree with cedric in every word.
this whole discussion is stupid.
and just to remind you ppl cause you seem to forgot that there is no GOOD.
there is no BAD.
its all a matter of TASTE.
nothing more.
so get over it....

Sanjer

i think gms and simon posford are very very different in their music and diverse.
each artist that you mention here has loads of tracks, so no conclusion can be done against anyone, this is what i think

and for the record, i have done my own trance tracks before. and reaching the level of GMS is one of my biggest dreams ever, so respect the artist when you speak. you may have no idea of how much work is needed for making any trance track released (or succesfull)

Cedric, I agree everyone can love whatever he loves (it's nice that ppl are loving something, whatever it is), but he did ask are they the best ever, so it's natural that ppl will respond.

Also I never call music shitty as it is someones creation and he might (should) have put his heart in it. There are way to say things Neo. With respect.

I don't agree that Neo or anyone can't say their (bad) opinion on someone's music because they don't make music- music is made for others to listen to, even if they don't make music- actually it is made more for the ppl that don't make music.

Also i don't agree that doing the same music is like having a style- i can give you so many examples of artists making totaly different sounding music within the same style and others making music with their own personal mark in different styles, i won't evem bother with examples.

i still feel that GMS are recycling and their music started to feel too much like a product to me instead of art at some point (when i lost interest)- i also still think that not every track made in a few days should be released, even if it works on the floor- i think this will be better for trance in the end if things were like that.           ---------------------------------------------

"do androids dream of electric sheep" ?

i used to listen to this album so much...
these guys are younger then astralprojection
and hallucinogen and koxbox and all the "stable" bands...different generations....they allow themselves to change with the trends...look at simon posford...i dont mean to disrespect ...but he's all dub-style now just becuz he refuses to move with the trends.

gms - one of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey , i didn t mean to be rude....i don t care so much and i was just telling what i thought.....actually i don t know neo and i have nothing against him of course....but as an artist , and as a BIG MOUTH , i felt i wanted to remind everyone that there is a big difference between to not like , and to say it s shit...that s it....nop matter if it is for gms or anyone else...even if it was for someone i don t like or i don t know it would have been the same.....but ok...it s not a big deal anyway!!!happy new year!!!!!!!!

Big Mouth... good name for your next track Cedric ;-)

And Mai, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep was excellent than, and very very different, shame the production was bad and so it didn't survive the time.

And I think that Simon does not move with the trends but makes them...           ---------------------------------------------

GMS stopped working creatively ages ago. Nowadays, even on the dancefloor (I can't listen to their music at home, it has nothing to offer there), their tracks don't leave me with a jaw down to the floor. You can guess exactly what's going to happen next, always that little extra expected lead and/or drumloop, never doing something that'll totally surprise the listener.

Do you know what other trance genre works like that? Nitzhonot. Only GMS are very proffesional.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
