Actually the topic says it all - is there anyone who still buys vinyl (psy, prog, minimal etc.) or is there just no interest in 'em anymore...?

I probably buy 75% vinyl. A lot of that is breakbeat, but I still purchase quite a bit of proggy records. However, I do get the CD versions whenever available since they are much lighter to carry and I'm lazy.

Every week! Mainly progressive house stuff and some trance too.
I think there's still a lot of people interested since good records get out of stock in few days...

I buy vinyl all of the time, mostly prog-tech house and Techno.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

I agree...also it's pointless for labels to release stuff on Vinyls, it's much more expensive and you can't put as much tracks as you can on a cd...In the end someone ends up paying the exact amount of money for 2 EPs as he would for one CD...I think that we will see less and less vinyls in the future...especially on the trance scene...           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

perso, i only buy vinyle when the releases are ONLY on vinyle.. or else, cd all the way.. first off, its much more cost efficient to pay 22$'s for 8 or 9 tracks, then to pay 15$'s for 2 or 3 tracks..

And well, to my ears, cd sounds alot better.. but i like clear sounding music.. but in reality, techno does sound better on vinyle because vinyle seems to compliment the low frequencies, along wtih the high frequencies.. (leaving the MIds kinda flat). Cd's find the perfect blend of all three, allowing trance music to englobe and create great atmospheres...

however i do have a little more fun mixing with vinyle, all good releases are on cd's.. and i don't mind it at all..           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9
