that track went straight to the top5 of the most crappiest "psy" tracks of all time and eternity.
(that top5 contains also 1200 mics: acid for nothing, alien jesus: open your eyes and... wait i'm too traumatized by the mere thought of these tracks to remember the rest )
"no one ever sweats on a plug-in" -moby
there is a huge contrast between the dark energy of dominator and the pop effect of daft punk

Ive liked Daft Punk since I first heard them back in like, 1997.
I was a bit 'huh?!' about them doing the Tron Legacy soundtrack, I was thinking French house would be too 'dancey' for Tron, compared to Wendy Carlos' score to the original film. I was pleasantly surprised, they did quite a good job.
Their new album is like, exactly what sort of thing I'd do myself, if I had like, millions of dollars to spend to record in top-notch studios, with top-notch session musicians and orchestra. It does seem like it would be popular with like, Kesha fans, but that doesn't really change the fact that I enjoy it.
I used to care a lot about whether or not music was 'commercial' or 'mainstream' or enjoyed by crowds of sheeple, but then I realized I was actively preventing myself from enjoying music that, if I would just stop thinking about who else likes it or how many people like it, etc, and be honest with myself, I could actually be listening to enjoyable music that makes me happy.
Ive never really understood how some people can spend more time thinking about what they don't like than enjoying what they do like...
.
Made my day, thanks... Respect!

...I don't mind not going to Heaven, as long as they've got Coffee in Hell...

I liked the album. Great balance between electronics and acoustics, and the result is great groove music.
And plus: lot of tracks absolutly ROCKS when played with a real band. No keybords, computers... Just a singer, real bass, real guitar and real drums.
Bottom line: good music (and not only for background).
