People like spook are not alone..promoters are always trying to get away with shitty run businesses..
they dont have the skills or funding to do this but do this as a way to get the attention that feeds their huge egos..
No professional business would behave in this way and grow..people should not buy anything from these shady promoters..thats Y psytrance will always have a bad name..
Go find something else to feed your ego spook and company..people had enough of your trickery..I wonder if any prof music company would hire you at all..

OK people,
reality has nothing to do with all these we read here in this topic so much time now (as we say in my country Greece).Nathan aka Dr.Spook is one of the best persons and one of the most energetic & corporative label managers i have ever met all these years i am in psytrance music scene.Maybe his economics are not the best (something i dont know so i dont take place in this) but he is straight,loves to work,loves this scene & this music and this is something i get and makes me wanna work with him!Believe me people because i have tried to work with many labels and they couldnt do even the most simple things + no payments at all and many many more...Nathan works a lot in the details and fix things from the beggining.Thats why we chose GEOMAGNETIC.TV to be our next label to release our debut album ''COSMOS''.This because i wanted to express my opinion from what i have understood about Nathan.And please dont start saying that i am saying all these because we are going to release in his label...These things are only for kids!
And dont forget what i started writting in this topic after i met him...And last but not least...From what i see he is a little late with the payments but he is ok with this...Other's close their labels and owe money to many people or still have them but are like ghosts because of their bad payments...and i am talking about famous djs & label managers!You all know about whats happening out there...So com'on now...And dont forget how the economics are in this scene are and that cds are not selling any more...Free download wins at the moment...That sucks but is the truth and YOU ALL KNOW IT OUTHERE.This is reality for the music in 2008...

Maybe it is the best label in north america , but still All of Us would be happier if Nathan would run his busyness straight and pay everyone on time .
And yes he seems to be a nice guy, San Francisco hippie vibes I guess, but still I got greatly dissapointed by not having my money on time AND the lack of promotion both for my first album and as a label artist.
So being a nice guy is not enough to run the biggest label in north america.
It's not about talking shit or like in some cases of people here sucking up. It's about Justice. Which will be done eventually... one way or another.

Before the business aspect ,D"r Spook is a gr8 person and also very honest ,he made a business mistakes in past with few artist (some friends of mine),but seems like its not his useal way of work ,me for instance ,he payied in 2007 ! for a track came out last week (Travelling the Cosmos) ,ok ,he had a delay of 3 weeks with payment ,not a big deal at all !
i think its easy get into bad vibe and talk dirty ,very easy ,during 2007�8 some labels close thire gates not rellease anymore or barly rellease
SO INDUSTRY (if someone can call this poor scene industry) is in BAD SHAPE ,if you sell music
sell ONLY in advance,otherwise ,just understand
all those contracts of 3 month after rellease
,and roayltys calculations are BIG BIG FUCKIN BULLSHIT,and might take years (i have it with other labels still owe me money from 06�7)
at least Nhatan dont HIDE like other peoples i know
he answer here and on emails and seems like this dude is here to stay and keep the trance alive
im sure Nahtan will close all his debts to artists
.one by one ,and im sure those business mistakes are part of the past

p.s : small fix ,under some circumstances,those contracts of payment after 3 month etc etc ,might be better then advanced payment ,but this methood of payment with *ANY* label is at your own risk .
and you MUST know exactly what you do
otherwise ,again ,you risk you own work
