its not like house djs who got shite loads of egos
the psy djs r all down 2 earth they give respect & earn surplus respect.....

Well, it is obvious that you have access to the TRUE trance state, that is omewhere out there in true reality. And we do not have access to this. We are still behind you.
I mean it is clear from your words that THE perfect trance state (not what you perceive as one, but THE actual one) is not attainable if there are people that are not like you, Ganjagil. Of course, I cannot be like you (I can only be), therefore I have never experienced this pure and perfect state, no matter what I think I have experienced.
I think I will abandon all search for this perfect state as it is evident I do not have what it takes and instead concentrate on revering you, as you are already in that state and I am in awe of you.
P.S. Also, a thermometer measures better than a barometer.

Sorry if some people in here misunderstood my opinion on reaching higher states of conciousness through music. all i was saying is that i think that for experienced trance people who go to a party for spiritual beleives and uplifts i think that being surrounded by other kinds of people does not help but in fact reduces the energy. I think trance as everything is for everyone true but i also beleive in different states of mind and happiness and i think to have a perfect spiritual uplift through music the crowd has first of all beleive in this and that the music has enough feeling to uplift everyone in the same state. Sorry but i talk with no ego i have been going to festivals around the world in search of the goa feeling we usaed to have were everybody was one and now after a million dissapointments i am looking to make this happen in a small crowd at least! Can't people think how professional this can be, how we can go to other dimensions together if we start to think about spirituality and not just another party! I mean when it's just a party then there is nothing special about it but when it is taken spiritually then it is something complete! It takes us there together and we become one! When people experience this there life changes to a better frequency of life, doing the good thing in everything and at every single moment! This is trance, i associate trance with goodness, love, spiritual uplifts, happiness, nature, egoless generation!
Also someone mentioned that trance dj's and producers are down to earth unlike house or techno i say man wake up it's full of ego and big sunglasses and this you can even feel inside the music! How can an ego minded money wanting person lead us to an egoless place?
Another mentioned that he is sorry for people who go to these parties for having drugs, man wake up it's through psychedelic drugs and trance that we achieve higher states unless you know of some really good Yoga techniques which few of us know...
I come up with these posts as to learn from you people how u think about the whole situation and that maybe u come up with some points that are interesting for me for making a better scene and talking everything more professionally...

Ganjagil, I see your point, for me parties used to be more spiritual events than just share fun, I remember that tribal belonging feeling that unified the dancers, some kind of collective understanding. However, I haven't experienced that for ages now, well, to be honest I went to a party only once in five years now and even though i enjoyed the party I didn't sense the same as it used to be.
Still, I don't think that anyone should critisize people coming to parties, parties are for everybody. If you want to have more spiritual gathering I think its best to organize it underground with people who have the same ideology. Maybe you'll find the old feeling then... |

I see your point gangagil, and respect it too, because if that is what you seek, and are willing to make happen, then i believe you will indeed find it. However, i think you will only find that in a small trance gathering (or many other forms of togetherness - not parties per say), with people who you deem to be on the same level as you believe you are. If you do find it (make it happen), you will probably be blown away, as will those who share it with you most probably. But i see that as a kind of utopia, and something most of us could never experience on this here earth.
Parties in general attract people from all walks of life, across cultural barriers, some are new to it, some are seasoned. This to me is the major drawcard, as it is the only place i see civilisation today, with such a diverse group of people, just drop all prejudice, judgement etc, and go about having a blast. Of course not all people at parties are like that, BUT i believe the rest that ARE, are there to show those people who aren't, HOW to be, to behave, to be respectful...... etc(by their actions alone). It is a continuing cycle, and it is not going to stop. The gatherings are getting larger and larger, as more people are drawn to it.... (i have no doubt that they are drawn because of the fundamental principles of PLUR- we are all born good)
Life teaches us lessons all the time, one is never to old to gain new insight, and one never reaches the ultimate high, trance state, without yearning to improve on it. We learn from each other, from others' mistakes, others' joy...
My mission is to lose being judgemental toward others, and in so doing be able to go through life practicing PLUR in all areas.
I hope you find that utopia, and that it gives you what you seek, and remember, the wheel will still be turning, people will still be learning, and one day we will all meet in the psycadelic temple in the stars!!!!

I have thought and thought about this and have come up with a solution thanks to some of you in here. Well i also was a newbee once and after some trance parties i did enter this new frequency of life little by little i went deeper and became more concious of everything, so i think that this music is for everyone to hear and enjoy and maybe one day they also will look deeper and arrive at this frequency. Apart from this i think of making parties big ones for these people and make some private ones for my close friends and me so at least we can really go to heaven like that and everybody's happy!

i always try to think that it is us who changed.... jaded, got experienced, got used to.. whatever u wanna call it.. basically we got accustomed to the whole thing and its not shiny and clean for us anymore... also - everything looks pinker through nostalgy. my reason for saying this is observation of the younger crowd and how they perceive the party and the scene, it is fresh and new to them and in my view, not much diffrent then what we had.

In my view it's not much different also from what we had only thing is that there is no space for people like us that is why i feel lost in this generation, nothing is special for people anymore, time passes quickly and music also nowadays...this is why i insist on taking music to a spiritual level, many people beleive this here in Malta and we do live it also, but we need new spiritual trance and we cannot find anything that gives us this that is why we are panicking now! were is it??
