NOW !
since no one is talking about something intersting, I've decided to raise a new TOPIC,
and in this TOPIC, I would like people to get out ALL of their true thoughts and feelings about partys, in a good way.
so maybe we can change something, together, and create something more interesting and improved.
SO...
I just wanna say that there is time for everything, and it seems that party each friday is starting to be too much...
I am going out to parties since 97, and it is really not like it used to be.
I rememmber the people from back then, I do not see them anymore in partys... only kids, and arsim, people are trying to be cool and act like in goa : Shanti , boom Bholonat,
are we indians god damnit ?! why do we talk like that ?
and PLUR , BLUR and the rest of the Chlor..
we never had to use such terms,
we were animals , inside a wild party.
ALL the people were on the same head.
wow, it was so diffrent.
for the people who werent in partys in those times, I can assure you, that partys today, dont have anything in common of what it used to be.
I am talking to lots'a DJ's from back then, from people even that used to go to parties,
they all have changed, like the trance scene.
to cut a long story short....
I wrote everything I could, to explain to u the reasons that disturb me about now days parties...
and my qestion to u is :
do you have those times when you REALLY dont wanna go out for a party ?
if so.... specify...

well, i still didn't get that REALLY don't wanna go out thing, but i am with you on many things, i haven't been going out to parties as long as you have duplex, but even i can see a tremendous change in the party feel, something i always think about but can't truly put my finger on. mostly i think it is because trance became so mainstream lately, i guess being underground made all trancers think more or less the same, and i remember seeing people enjoy parties even though they were small 100 people parties that even had a few arabs there, and everyone were happy, sharing their weed  with people they just met 5 minutes ago (i even remember arriving to one party and some arab dude comes and gives me a head ) where are those things today?
there are so many people coming to parties today which i know it is mostly politically incorrect to say it here, but they are not "kshurim" to the trance scene of times past, and don't fathom the true essence of it. that is why i think people in parties today are more distant and a lot of feeling is lost.
i guess i could say more, but i'll wait for some more responses i guess

Well, I've been going to parties about as long as you have Duplex, and I do have those periods when I am REALLY not in the mood for parties anymore. I take a brake for a while (sometimes a few months) and then come back.
The thing that bothers me the most is that the ppl have changed. Ppl used to be open, free, sharing, somehow united. Today most party ppl bring their fears and troubles from daily life into the party - they become suspicious, afraid, hang to their group, to themselves. If in the past ppl had no problem going to someone and asking for a SHACHTA, today they'll think twice because of the reaction they'll get. If in the past ppl would just sit next to someone and talk to that person freely, today ppl stick to the ppl they came with and don't open up to others. Why?
About the Shanti , Boom Bholonat, PLUR and all that - I think the words themselves are just a language that this group of ppl have in common. Every group that share a common interest in something and practice it a lot have that. Look at computer ppl, they have a language of their own, same goes for skydivers, bartenders, bicycle riders, motorcyclists, etc. What's behind the words was always there, but never talked about.
Ppl change, things change. All I can offer is to look for the new and improved things (can't think of any at the moment ). That's what I try to do. I try to take it easy and accept things as they are.
I still enjoy a good party. Not like I used to, but still.

I think that there are some changes but the main changes are in you Duplex, you just grown up...
I go to parties since 96 and i do not see very much changes(exept cops behaviour).
there allways been kids(you were a kid too back in 97,remember?), arsim(not in every party the same till 2day),and ppl said bolenat ALLWAYS.
So if you got enough of trance parties, open your mind and go to some other parties like lots of ex--trance-party-ppl do.

I know that it bothers me more and more today to see kids in parties for example.
I know there's nothing to do about it, but it's hard for me to see that as people get older, they stop going out as often as they used to.
Makes me feel old sometimes...
I started reducing the amount of parties I go out today.
It used to be every week once. Today it's much less.
We did it all, and now we prefer quality over quantity.

Well , i know i haven't changed my way of trance
partying .
Duplex , the reason we sit amongst our
selves is we don't want ne narc-agent
with us ... ( abuse makes u paranoid ! )
j/k ,
there r some ppl in parties i will talk to , and invite
and there r others i wont .
now if we were computer giks, and i said if
we would talk Binary - would u prefer that i would come to u in parties and start shooting 01001 @ u ? 
and finnaly , yes i have times i dont wanna c
parties ( i had a leave of absence from the whole thing for 4 yrs , didnt wanna c , didnt wanna hear ) , but need a REAL GOOD BLAST OF A PARTY be4 those times 
one last thing : Raver Girl is right - choose quality over quantity , u cant miss there !!! ( for short , u come with me ! ! )

this is all too funny, now that I have few days off the god damn work, me and Tom are going to kill ourselfs with some vibes in parties, I just hope that we'll find something good this friday and saturday...
