depend in the beat -and in the mood
each one with his own personal taste-so some will dance from some music and others will relax from another

First time I went to a psy trance night at a club there were loads of people dancing in the chillout room... its was beautiful... ever since then Im hoping someday Im gonna hear someone put a chillout section in the middle of a psy set, take the audience on a spacey journey and then bring them back to reality again.
Does this ever happen? Seems that most trance types just want to stomp for hours on end. |

depends of the music that is played...the psyambient chillout with waves of frequencies and almost no bass doesnt motivate much in my opinion...but dubby chillout with some bass and uplifiting sounds...some heartbeat friendly 90bpm! Then definetly yes...thats music to dance to!
I like the idea of having a chill break in a middle of a trance set is very interesting but i dont think that it will happen often...people like the "trip", the continuous bass, the nonstop character of the steady rythm to get into "trance" while listening to trance...but there are times: I remember Freedom Festival in Portugal last Summer where the mainfloor stopped the sound in the afternoon while Sphongle had a performance in the chillout..and everybody danced to it..amazing!
