Dancing to chill out is one of the greatest pleasures in life!! You can float and spin around and really interact with people, really flow with the sounds. I was lucky enough to dance(float)! to a Tripswitch chill set last weekend, and I'm still smiling :)

Chill-out is practically all I dance to. I do like dancing to other kinds of music, including trance, on certain occasions if the fancy takes me. But give me dub any day. I'm not always in the mood, or sometimes it takes me a while to get going, but if and when I do, I can lose myself for ages.

My favourite time to dance is late at night in my bedroom, which has no lights in it at all if I don't spark up some candles. I love it when I'm a bit wrecked and busying myself with something, then feeling the uncontrollable urge to stand up and move to some swanky choon on my playlist. It's nearly always an upbeat chill-out track, my all time favourite being the LSD remix and more recently UFO Over Trenchtown by Eat Static and the (rediscovered) Karmacoma dub remix. It actually happens surprisingly often. And I've had some of my best ever dancing moments this way too.

I`ve never tried it. I grooved lil bit behind the DJ-desk, but never danced. Maybe I should try For me it is just the perfect "head-music" Maybe it`s also the perfect "Body-music". I will start experiments *lol*

I often find myself dancing behind the decks (always when mixing in my living room) and increasingly the sets I play for the chillout floor are made with dancing in mind.

I played a warm up set in oxford a couple of weeks ago, and at first peoples heads were bobbing and you could see the smooth transition for that head movement to travel down the body until their feet were moving. Once that had happened I started playing the first 'proper beats' and then left the decks for a full-on DJ to take over.

Let me ask you a question. Listen to the set I played and tell me at what point do you think you would start dancing rather than nodding your head? the link for download is here http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/82153/forum/10           www.BarakaRecords.com/brij.htm

For me i love to groov in a chill.

And when i play i like to see ppl grooving and sometimes even dancing.
When ppl dance in a chill i m really happy of my set.
Much more difficult to make dance a chill than a Dancefloor. Respect to all the chill dancers !!!
