I agree with psytones its not so much dancing than floating. If you are looking for stuff like that, look at the mountain high 2 albumn, the tripswitch stuff is quite floatable too also the bwicked albumn is pretty dancable actually.

it has a natural flow it's the best music to dance to, it annoys me when people say you can't dance to it. It's downtempo but it is DANCE MUSIC.

thats the best kind of dance!

i do dance, why wouldnt i ?
even tough some tracks are slower bpm you can still groove and move and flow...
we just dont need that tunt tunt tunt tunt, hard in your head and ears....not to talk about the rest of the body...imagine....we are 90%(or so) water and reverberate with each little sound....
dancing to downtempo music is more delicate...i flow with the different sounds that compose the music...not getting attached to one rythm alone...
groooovy!

actually...i have found chill dance much more fun to do and watch than trance...which if you really analize a full on dance floor in most places **not saying that everywhere and all the time is like this!!!** people look like robots with no "ginga"....hmmm....thats a brazilian word that i really dunno a translation....anyways....i meant REALLY moving your body, and all the muscles and joints and all that...

agree with the above posts that chillout is the best music to dance to for me, brings me further into trance
ones that do it for me: phutureprimitive, androcell, pitch black, that last track from quality relaxation, sir eel, gaudi's bass, sweat....

I had to put him out of his misery. He was jabbing on and on about psychedelics and it's connection to psy-music. I couldn’t let it go on any further as he was almost kicked out of this forum. The more stable psytones is back and in control. Kire-naj lives on in my signature.
+ He will soon play killah’ psychedelic DJ sets. Watch-out for him, he will send you down a deep rabbit hole. Twist and shake your reality.

Last sunday I was lucky enough to "kill" an afterhours session in germany, being the last guy to play right after some progressive trance, I wanted to make a slow but continuous "downhill" from groOvey music to proper Chill Out in the end.. But as my set was shorter than scheduled (nevermind, the guy before me was good !) I had to make choices and slower the "tempo" much faster than what I've had set up..

I started with "Rumble" by BoOm Devil which made people go crazy hehe as usual with that one, and then directly launched "UFO Over Trenchtown" by Eat Static.. And then a few more tracks, some Red Seal, Peyote Sound System..

And until the very end most of the people there were still dancing, so I was very very happy with it.. In my mind it's clear this Music has a huge "when I feel so good, I've got some boogie in my bones" potential, hehe (Be blessed, Mr. Aitken) and I think party promoters should try to be more "bold" and end their parties with such Music.. because people keep dancing, and when finally the sound stops you're head is not so much in a buzz..

Some tracks allow also pair dancing, that is really magnifique !           .

hehe, word! Especially when it's a dark set, it would be wonderful with some "landing" music after a 5 hour hard dance session.
To bad so few does or dare to do this.

Btw. Seems your a DJ with exelent taste

I always ask the organizers of the party's where I'm playing to put some extra security in my sets...just to ban any potential dancing.
God I hate those lazy dancers!!!
