@ void000 and Hidro: Sorry, but your logic does not hold water.

The name of the site is ISRATRANCE.COM, not israpsytrance.com or israpsychedelictrance.com

Isratrance was started and is run by Israelis, out of Israel. If you read the guidelines of the forum, it states very clearly that "The Isratrance forum was started in 1999, but got boosted and upgraded near the end of 2000 with a new design and a growing steady community. It is a community revolving around trance music, and aimed at discussing trance music on various topics."

Like I said earlier, in other countries and Israel in particular, there is less distinction between the various genres of trance. SO! If Mdance or any other Israeli oriented organization wants to invite Britney Spears to perform at an indoor trance event here in LA, of course they could post it here and I say more power to them. Especially since the Israelis in LA represent about 70% of the trance community! Many of the Israelis who go to every psytrance party will also attend the Yahel party. Why shouldn't they find out about it here?

I usually don't get involved in heated discussions on this forum, but this kind of snobby discourse really bothers me. I repeat my earlier statement about the fluidity of the term "trance" in Israel.

Luckily for us "evolved" members, most of the active participants on the NA forum are psy loyalists, but there is no rule about not posting other kinds of trance events here.

The Isratrance team, bless 'em, get to set the guidelines about what is permitted on the site and forum. I don't think the North America forum should have different or stricter rules just because we think we are "above" such music.

word! people, moderate yourselves. everytime i see a topic for skazi, IM etc etc its always the same ole reactions. i take from this wonderful isratrance what suits me. what is indifferent to me, i just let it take its course. i for one can ackowledge that people have differing and richly diverse taste... and i dont expect my taste to be catered to specifically in every topic.           quantum frog, ca

if we were to restrict yahel, skazi, I.M. posts, should we also restrict progressive-related posts? what about minimal techno with a psychedelic influence? as long as a logical connection can be made between a post and the general intended content of this forum then it deserves to stay. it is pretty arbitrary in many cases, and really clear in others. though I.M., skazi, and yahel have separated themselves from psytrance, often times there IS psytrance played @ these events. many of the people that attend are still connected to the psytrance community, though that number is shrinking. nomadics said it well, i think...there needs to be a little more self-moderation.

any one can post the yahel concert and any one can flame the poster. it is easy to see yahel's relation to trance, and it is easy to make fun of yahel and still be talking about trance. therefore the question is not whether one can post about yahel, the question is who can come up with the funniest flaming response.

didn't everyone get their camera stolen by the security at the door last time Yahel played?

heheheeeee, i love rufflin feathers. i usually never flame anything, but sometimes i get a hair up my arse and start stirrin the pot.

i'm really not that upset about this, but i wanted to see what kind of reaction i could get.

i usually change the channel when I see something I don't like, but its just as fun to yell at the TV and write a letter to Congress to complain about the content i'm watching.           We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

Cant we all just... get along? I think the more acts the merrier. Everyone should have a chance to play everywhere and everyone should have the chance to see everybody.
