Try to visualize this party as a portal through time and space to a trance party in Tel Aviv somewhere. I myself had a terrific time at such parties in the nineties and can definitely revisit that vibe for an evening.
That video! I can see that track being a big hit at weddings back home in Israel. I am going to do some research.

Ok look the thing is Skazi, Yahel, Infected Mushroom & the rest of the cheese cake factories themselves admit that they are no longer Psytrance. Isn't there anyway these "non-psytrance" events can be filtered out of this forum?
Please don't give me things like 'no its about personal tastes', i will not accept seeing Madonna advertised out here next.
Someone do something...Moderators?

The ship is not sinking. It is big enough for all of us to share... don't mean to be all pollyanna about this, but mainstream Israeli trance with all its success and popularity is part of the reason psytrance continues to thrive and evolve worldwide. In other countries the genres are more tightly linked than here. So lets all try to be a little more tolerant of the different styles and tastes, no? |

To call this music psytrance necessitates the element of PSY!
The music propagated in the today’s “yahell” type parties has nothing psychedelic to it neither in inspiration nor in style or technique—it’s regurgitated noise—this is fine for those who are into that—but what should psychedelic heads put up with NOISE that just contributes to more of a rock star climate that has no place in the underground

Actually, I'm shocked that there is no Paul Oakenfold events listed here. If anybody here remembers, he WAS the # 1 label DJ for Dragonfly Records from 1994-1997, and Dragonfly was one of the first labels to push Goa trance. Just because he doesn't play goa anymore means that all of his rockstar events should be listed here too. Oh wait, that's right, he wasn't with an ISREALI trance label, they were British.
Who's up for grabbing a pacifier, some vicks vapo rub, a candy necklace, and hit the next Oakenfold show? :-P We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

Could the moderators be more discerning about allowing these posts on this psytrance music forum? This should be strictly trance --actually strictly PSYCHEDELIC trance or change the name of the form to “isramusic.com”
don't even know if that qualifies as music-- but that's my p.o. |
