I think that it all should be statutory (a law).
with guide lines for all things:
- a bar stoole for every set longer then 1 hour.
- a hot meal for every set longer then 3 hours
etc. any more suggestions?

an orgazm is an orgazm no matter when! anyway, i also want a tselia (shader) from the very first rays of light. and make it a criminal offence if the orgeniser does not supply one. I am tired  of getting  sun strokes...:)

Ah! the adventages of a night DJ...
Seriously, promoters usualy forget that DJs don't have night-vision and usualy don't bring a table light (ever happened 2 U?). This small consideration will greatly improve our job.
Also some heaters when winter comes - sometimes I cant grab the CDs because I'm shivering cold!

OK guys, accidently we tripped over a very important issue. As much as we try to joke about it, what comes up here suggest a thread on it's own, so let's move to "DJ / Promoters relations", if you will follow me...

Hey I remembered what I usually do - sign the cd's, give autographs, say "no" to every 2 lady coming because it's just to much of them. All the rest time I drink, becuase they already made me enough bj's WAIT WAIT I FORGOT TO MIX THE TRACK, SHIT!

Now to be serious for a moment.
Let's say a track lasts for 7 minutes.
discard the first 2 1/2 minutes since they were mixed with the previous track.
then let's say one and a half minute to find the next track.
half a minute to speedmatch and cue it on.
and then 2 1/2 more minutes in the mix.
No time even to sip a beer.
this is how a DJ should work.

You mean, with an IV needle stuck up his vein, and a nurse feeding him while he's beatmixing? come on borris, a fellow's gotta drink, no?

The most important thing here guys, is to enjoy yourselves. Mr.Honda, you're not on a crusade here, to beat music into the heathens, you know...

I usualy search through my case over and over, changing and listening to tracks to see if they fit to the general direction of my set, so actualy you can spend 5 minutes selecting the next track and listen to it while playing - selecting only by title sometimes gets unexpected results ("I remembered this track completely different" etc'...)

borris i've heard some of u'r sets ,u r great at beatmix & the technik side of dj'ing .
i love to hear u play , but u'r best sets were when u told a story in it (even if u didnt mean to.... :)    )

beatmix is important , so does the story

I know that i dont have so much time in my hands!
I have the exactly time I need:
- 2 minutes to select a track.
- 1 minute for cue and bpm.
- 2 minutes to arrenge the synti+multi effect.
- 1 minute to plane the switch.
- after 6-7 minutes of the track you can switch!

- Sometimes I even have time to dance, smoke or
just drink some coca-cola or something like this
