*Digiboga-Crosslink (So much hype and expectations from this compilation which didn't really deliver in my opinion)
*The bombardment of Shpongle imitation chillout albums which generally sound exactly the same.
*The Astrix syndrome (see Detox's thread). It is now virtually impossible to go to a party here in the states without hearing at least 10-15 tracks by GMS and their many clones.
*How one of the best albums of the year Yumade- Klanguage was basically ignored by everyone.
* The monotonous funk that Minimal music is stuck in.
Both teams played hard |

tarsis album
death of flying rhino ( bamboo forest album...........)
way too many "famous" & "killer" dj didn't mix at all (just putting a song after another) at samothraki
skazi 's boring music ..............
too many crappy parties with bad vibes here in paris.........

This year was incredible considering the music that was produced , i cant find lots of negative vibes in that.. Obviously there were some not soo good albums. I was dissapointed with Haldolium , really liked the music on their older albums. I didnt like the vocal tracks by Infected..
But the greatest dissapointment came from the festivals in Greece. i am not talking about samothraki.
Voama , Sola luna and Psava faam were big dissapointments.
Of course the death of some great labels is really dissapointing.
Finally i believe that it was a big mistake to close the samothraki festival with hallucinogen. At the time he played i was realy in the mood to dance crazy but the base kick + basslines were so weak that you had to stick your head in those big speakers to feel them..
i dont say that i dont like simons music , i love it but when it comes to dance i need some heavy BASS !!
anyway.. next year i think the organisers of SDF have to consider to have some heavy night music like X-dream, Midi miliz , 3.turn...

for me the biggest dissapoinment was the cancellation of what was going to be the first international psy festival in spain, this last summer, ; DREAM DANCE, which undoubtedly would have boosted our weak national scene!!
and certainly seemed it was going to be a uniquely flavoured fest.

Almost 2 years waiting for this Album and...
What a difference from what i was expecting to hear !!!
2) Astrix - Eye to Eye
After some amazing tracks on several Compilations, i thought that this Album should be a blast.
It wasn't, in my opinion !
