So which track is gone? You have listed the same nine again?

My only problem with highway was the levels on the cdj1000 readout were very small (all one straight line across the display) and didnt show the peaks and troughs which i use a fair bit, kind of like looking at the surface of a record.

This looks like a great release.

Hi,

I am very sorry to read that.. I just checked the mastered compilation and all levels are ok. It goes to -0db. I dont understand what had happened. We use the same mastering methods for all TVR releases as well as for another labels and we never had problem like this.

I uploaded the tracks on ftp because its the easiest and fastest way. Especially when you are on the other side of the world. Someone probably burned the CD badly [normalised=levels at -6db].

Thnx for info.. from this time I will always use post rather then ftp.

sorry again           dj schwa /TVR, BEEF records/

Thanks for the responses. Sorry if I came accross a bit harsh. I am pleased, in a way, that it was an accident! They can always be learned from.

To anyone affected - just normalize the tracks to 0db - they sound just fine then.

Look forward to the new release.

@SEAMUS : thanx for having written about the WORSE MASTERING EVER that ruined the 2 compilations that I bought from Digital Oracle. The first one : named "Digital oracle" was HORRIBLE and I put the CD straight to the trash. There was no way I could play this CD in a gig.

Then comes the 2nd that I bought "Highway" and same HORRIBLE mastering. I ask for a REFUND!

@Guys from D. O. ! mastering is a job! Give it to a professionnal.

This new track list is impressive and deserves the best. I hope the artists will double check before it is published. What's the use if you can't play your CD at parties?????
And I am serious about the refund!!!

Hey Aden,

Do you have a copy of Soundforge? If so, rip all tracks from CD. Select each one individually then Normalize to 0db ..... (Processes > Normalize > default settings should be fine)

I have played a few of the tracks out and they do sound fine.

We all live and learn.

Every so often, reference is being made to dance being dead, or rock being healthy. It implies the two things have an inverse relationship. It's an old myth and non-sense let's face it. One example against this logic is Happy Mondays, LCD Soundsytem and… progressive music! A style where many influences can melt together and influence each other. A genre where rock guitar riffs, vocals or electrifying attitude can melt with an accurate trance uplifting energy or a sensual house layer. If we join a minimalist approach or the glitchy sonic passion out there one understands that this is a land with of freedom to express music wise.
One fact: it has become increasingly difficult over the last few years to imagine electronic music landscape without the crossover ideals. The Portuguese label Digital Oracle gets in touch with it in its latest release.
Based around Lisbon - one Europe's most exciting cities to discover new music - the label continues its progression into merging music trends.
On "Beat Delight", Digital Oracle provides a full eclectic progressive dancefloor mash up. Beckers "Colour Me Blind" electro led sets the pace and Brisker and Magitman weaves through the throbbing beats of its "Recharge". Bristling atmospheres with Luke Chable reworking of Shiloh's "Dream On" and attention grabbing groove from Freq over Frogacult's "All Seasons". Real ear-openers include Beckers "Rhythm Junk", Criss Source and Marc O'Toll "Retrospective", Beat Bizarre "Can't Wait" and Minilogue aka Son Kite "The Girl from Botany Bay" keeps the listener griped to the very last note.

Track List

1. Beckers - Colour me Blind
2. Brisker and Magitman - Recharge
3.Shiloh - Dream On (Luke Chable rmx
4. Froga Cult - All Seasons (Freq slow fat Rmx
5. Beat Bizarre - Can't wait
6. Criss Source and Marc O´Toll - Retrospective
7. Beckers - Rhythm Junk
8. Minilogue aka Son Kite - The Girl from Botany Bay

Very disappointing that the mastering is not good AGAIN. I would expect that a professional label would have learnt their lesson.

The tracks are killer. But please get the mastering sorted out.
