Is the mastering going to be better on this release?
I ask because the quality of sound on your recent release, HIGHWAY, was very poor. A shame as some of the tracks are great.

To Seamus, what was it that was bad about the mastering of the "Highway" comp? I havent heard the full CD yet.. I know that it was mastered by Schwa from Tribal Vision. But the Behind Blue Eyes & Beat Bizarre tracks featured, is mastered in Copenhagen... Could you be more specific about what was bad perhaps??

Hey Banel,
My main gripe with the mastering was that all of the tracks were left with peak levels around - 6db. After checking the waveforms I can see they have been mastered, just not normalized to the expected levels.
I'll admit that the tracks seem ok once normalized.
However, normalizing tracks and burning them onto a cdr is not something I expect to have to do with purchased cd's.
Having said all of this, I really do like some of the tracks on the album. Some real gems on there, for sure.
I guess I would be happier, and more likley to purchase future releases, if this was a mistake and they promise not to do it again (wink wink)

Hi seamus!!!
Sorry i was 1 week without checking the isratrance forum.
The tracks were mastered by Schwa from tribal Vision like banel told u.....after i was expecting him to send to printing factory a master cd but he decide to drop the tracks on my ftp, i ask him about the cd and he told me was no problem i just need to download it a burn into an audio cd....i did that, im not a musician im a label manager and party promoter so i trust in the person i pay to do the job!!
New release is mastered by Diogo Gomes from Feed me\HyperFlow and will be distributed by 2hands.
It wont happen again |

This is the updated track list we had to remove one track because with 9 tracks the compilation will have more than 80 minutes of duration, the maximum for a Cd to be printed is around 76 minutes
