Hm I have seen a lot of different "trance types" but they most often dont make much sence.

Like goa trance, psytrance, morning trance, progressive psytrance?? Others acid maybe?

Someone knows them who can give an explanation and example of tracks? And is there any point of dividing them so much... I mean, if its trance its trance... However the word is abused.. just like techno.

Definitions will be definitions and tastes will be tastes and opinions will be opinions......

As easy as that ;)

Check out for Beat Bizarre, that's minimal.
For progressive check out Son Kite.

It's all trance, but it has different sounds, it develops in a different way.
As you can't say that all music is music to you and there's no difference between opera and pop and trance, you can't say all trance trends sound the same.

its the type of music, just like techno, trance, minimal, progressive house, hip hop, rock.
Trance has smaller divisions. Minimal trance, techno trance, progressive trance, its the diffrent styles in trance.  Maybe if you listen to the sounds and styles carefully you can begin to tell the differince. GOA trance and Minimal trance sound pretty diffrent.

Trance:
let's speak about open air party tradition -
Night music - playing at the night time
Morning music - at morning time
it both not style of music, its type.. i mean - night (dark, non melodic) morning (light, melodic).
styles:
goa trance - melodic naivy non smart buetifful music.its about pure emotional feeling.
psy trance - less melodic, psychedelic pure trance music.
full on - fast and agressive psy trance.
minimal - trance with few sounds into each trak.
progressive - its not exacly trance, progressive its progressive...
tech-trance - something in the middle of trance and techno..

Progressive sounds a lot like tech-trance. I don't think there's much difference.

Must we make boundaries to a boundarless music? why must we confine it and lable it?
as i have said Countless times - if it sounds good, i'll buy it.
if it makes me move my ass, I'll buy it.
if I like what i hear - I'll buy it. doesnt matter if it's XV Killist or Tandu, Astral projection or Ticon.

i agree with Zombi 100%.
the dudes that go deeper into trance exploration,
starting to know and realize that few tracks make them happy or dance more...
and thats when they need to learn the differences from style to style...
yes it is all trance (like a dude at a party told me yesterday when we chiled at the fire while minimal was playing...), but when you go deeper and listen more and more, you develope your own taste inside trance.
