This topic was created because, from the exposure of some pictures of a party that took place a few days ago featuring Psychotic Micro, a 'war' of opinions has been brought up by various users, expressing their ideas and opinions about dark psy and full-on psy and whether signs like this  are devil signs and do not 'fit' in the psy-culture...

I believe that, music like all things on our nature, have been going ahead on parallel roads with evolution... Actually, names such as (dark, fullon, morning, melodic) are not proper for describing music...
Each and every one of us, can express music with his/her own perceptions, give names and listen to what makes his/her ear feel good and stop judging about other kinds "fluffy" or "devil" or anything else...
If u read a few posts that have been written on the above link you will see what Im talking about... Psychotic Micro were killer on that event, played some freash powerfull tracks straight from the chemical crew mafia, and they have been judged by ppl that were not even at the specific event, beacuse they have performed the way they have performed and that they shouldnt do the "devil" signs --> and all...
I would be very glad to listen to the opinion of ppl from around the world, instead of just the ppl from Greece and Cyprus...

interesting argument you guys got going there. well I think it depends actually. all the metal sounds going on, I dont like, but respect to the ones that do. but I personally would be afraid if there were djs like that(ones in the pictgures) in a show I went to, and everyone around me starts doing devil signs 
well I generally consider dark psy to be for outdoor. at least it is only listenable for me dark, in a forest or desert. I think it actually brings me closer to nature and into a "psychedelic" state. so I dont agree with the view that dark psy doesnt belong to the scene.

Sort music by quality rather than style . There are good fullon artists same as good Dark artists . Do not listen to those who think they know everything , you know who i mean . Music is general and if some Dark elements remind metal , some of Fullon element can remind POP . So it would be endless talk . |

exactly dimitry!
i like kindzadza and penta for instance, but on the other hand i really like deedrah and tikal. it's the quality that counts as u said, not the style (though i came from metal so i relate to dark psy- but definitely not to all of it!)

I personally think too many people are closed minded in 'this scene' (and everywhere else also), whatever the hell 'this scene' means...
One may think fire is related to the devil, one may think fire is related to the inner fire, the kundalini, whatever...
This sign the guy makes.. So what? It's a hand gesture.. Stop trying to prohibit people doing this or that, because you interpret it as something you dont like... There are places where clapping hand means you are trying to eliminate the demons, and in other places it means you are congratulating..
I personally dont like this dark and heavy-metal related stuff, but so what? I dont buy the cds, and I dont go to related parties.. If someone enjoys it, good for them...
People are always talking about 'this scene', and have a fixed image of what the 'scene' is supposed to be, and label whatever is outside their own little closed notion as 'wrong', or whatever other word you want to give to things you dont like/want. Fixed notions can never adapt to the dynamic Reality.
We need more open minded and understanding people, that's what the scene needs, and not another witch-hunt or desire to eliminate certain and certain group of music/trance/culture |

I really don't understand why do people relate the devil, demons with this dark psytrance, IMO its bullshit.
So, if i get in my computer and start to make a track (Bpm 150) with a sample lets say the movie The Devil Advocate my music is evil and everyone that listens to its is evil too.

not to mention the fact that 'devil' symbolizes the 'dark side', which is just the other side of 'good'... You could not have the 'evil' if you cant compare it with something that you call 'good'...
All opposites are mutually necessary..
Dont you remember in physics class 'oposites attract, equal repels' ?
Which one is better: Left or right?
Up or down?
hard or soft?
Short or long?
dark or light?

I don't like fullon .Dark neither but dark seems more fit night than fullon when fullon much more happy morning imho

i hate people who keep goin about sayin PLUR when they really dont know what its all about......respect man respect......u do ur thing and i do mine.....lets not judge each other......i think thats what PLUR is all about.......makin devil signs does not spoil the vibe of a party and wearing spikes ...... now please if i wear spikes to a psy party does that mean iam confused with the rock and psy culture????......please stop makin issues of such trivial things........
