Tzachi with all the affection to your spirit I must disagree in 2 things.
Jewish people as general do like money a lot, and in fact they like it so much they are ready to fuck their own ppl and family many times, and there are stories about it every day in newspapers and radio. If Jewish people would love money a little less, then educational system in Israel for instance, was in much better situation and there are much more examples than that.
As much as your reasoning for PURE LOVE is nice, there is no such thing in party making. And good example for this is your own parties - if you would make some money from parties, maybe you were able to choose better spots or have enough money for better bouncers / safety at your parties, etc.. Like everything party making needs investment of time and money. There is no reason that I can see that a private person start taking off his own time, and of his pocket to arrange parties for other people. It looks too much like "mother teresa" thing and Mother Teresa was only one.
You have good heart, but I think it doesn't fit to reality sometimes.

o.k yuli lets see 2 facts that you said and i will say my responce:
fact no' 1: jewish or israeli love to make moeny even on thire on family and friends -
responce: wrong, wrong and wrond again..
this sentance is an inclusion, what you saying is a wrong hypothesis that we as a self blaming character that become 2 generation ago from eroup, IN FACT that there are ppl LOVING meony all nations, and even more jewish choose to make donation, THE FACT is (by looking at the listed donation orgs in web) that we have good heart more then a lot of the would's milioners.. and by the jewish invention and crativity that what me a lot of jewish soo rich.. the fact that you (yuli) talking like this is something we hear soo much and we belive it has his truth inside, but it's self untishemic.. and verry much not true.

responce: wrong again..
if we will take the biggest prod in israel and the smullest one, there is diffrences of course but there is one thing is common, what they are sharing is the love to the party vibs.. prod cannot make parties with out love the spirit of the party.. no metter if the prod make meony over it, or not.
tsunami or moksha or t.f.n or 3rd empire, they all contribute to the scene by making thire event, stop serching for meony making like "mas hachanasha" (income tax officers).. couse you are not..
as long as prod make an event and you CHOOSE to come, it is your judgment if it worth it.. but be sure the main motive of MAKING parties or music is the LOVE TO CREATE..
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN EARING MOENY IN PARTIES (offcouse after working so hard, and so long) AS LONG AS THE PROD KEEPING FAIR & APPROPRIATE ATTITUDE!
human being is a craetive animol, and emotional bean, i learn this in my sociology & anthropology degree, but more then this i learn this from life itself!

Man the main central thing that is common to all productions in Israel that make trance parties, is for sure not PURE LOVE. Since in my vocabulary PURE LOVE is love with expecting nothing in return. It's clean. It's very naive. It's a love of a dog to it's owner. It can be love between some loving couples, but in most of the relationships I believe it is not. FOR SURE it is not the common link that appears in all the productions in Israel. I think that as one with a degree @ Social sciences and Anthropology you should have realized it long ago by now.
There is ofcourse the love for this music and what it represents etc.. but this love is far from being PURE man. It's time to wake up and smell the humus!

i like what u said and i'm with you on this one.
however most of the artists that i like and respect is almost unreachable in israely music stores ,most of the music in tower records ,zlil and even krembo records is commercialised and not really my pill...
so untill these stores won't bring or\and import real music ...
i will continue to spend my 60 shekels on the pill i actually like

eitan, if you are such a good friend as you think you are, and you respect me, you sure can understand it's insulting to say things like that to me in a public forum..
but as you all see i try to make less spalling mistakes, but sometime i can't avoide of making them, maybi i have problem to concentrate when i'm writing but ppl easelly understand my point.. (if they wont to) it's more easy to make fun of me instade..

once upon a time or was it yesterday?
i was in a party here in israel.
it was a beach party organized by..
that ment 4 the heart..
it was a free of entrance (not even 1 hat) no bar only free drinks on everyone tents (alonit LE).
indi pips in the air and 500-600 friendly people dancin and swimin.
the music type is not metter 4 this topic
just the interest..

first of all i have to say that i got tons of respect to any individual in here
to the subject:
i have to agree with outdoor79
yuli, i think that u are mad of society somehow
mybe in your eyeview its justified
mybe u were harmed by the community or the gov
or mybe u are watching too much TV & believe every story.. and this is way you fear of PURE LOVE and deny the love ppl want to give.
i have learned about those kind of feeling that flowing in the ppl minds.. this is the result of the new age of electronic communication [and many more stuff of course]
this is only a theory

Heh nice one.. Never thought opening this topic will bring me my Psychologic profile straight in my face..
Since you seem to be interested in my personal where abouts, I will tell you:
I don't watch TV at all except the Euro lately and the 1 hour when I have to see it at the gymnasium every day.
I do believe in power of the WORD. Too many ppl throw WORDS they don't really understand and use them ( or maybe abuse them ) which makes them as cheap as the cheapest full on track.
PURE LOVE is ( in my opinion, correct me if I am wrong ) something every person seeks in his life, and I believe he / she supposed to be happy to get it ONE TIME ( leave Mothers love and dogs love aside ).
So when someone says that PURE LOVE is everywhere around, that every single party org is full of PURE LOVE... It sounds a bit naive ( and I really try to use the nice words so you wont say again that I am mad with the world )
And one to finish with this interesting argument... Israel is one of the last places on this planet one can see PURE LOVE... I am saying this because for me, as Israeli, it's little sad. And if you, Episoded, can't see this, then YOU are the blind one out of two of us.. And our country is in a very wrong situation at the moment, and not because of anyone outside, but because of us, it's citizens. And because of this situation, PURE LOVE is very rare around here.
This is ofcourse only me, as I see it.. But I do have the chance to see different societies and their behaviour, and this is my conclusion for time being. Hope it will change!!
And dj426 is wrong.. Everyone entitled for an opinion, this is why this forum is here.
