I just wanted to give a piece of advise to those that missed one simple little thing about parties.
Nowadays, 99% of the parties, especially big ones, are promoted through flyers and Internet.
When one looks at the flyer, or Internet promo, he/she can see the lineup clearly, see the price clearly, and one doesn't need to be Einstein to understand if it will be small event or a big one.
Therefore, we might expect from people, that coming to a party, and paying the ticket, that they understand where they are going, what is the lineup and what is the general size of the event - if it's hush hush or more commercial
Example..
If we have lineup of Hallucinogen and X-Dream in one party, it looks like there will be more than 500 ppl involved and there is a good chance that there will be people there from different backgrounds ( Not only beautiful ppl for the racists between us ). That reasoning gives us a chance to decide if we want to go there never the less and enjoy really good artists that very seldom come to Israel, or go to some underground party that has no international lineup and will be cozy, small and nice.
Bashing productions that bring very big international lineups for being greedy is very problematic AFAIK. Because no one, except the production, knows the costs involved in doing this, and no one except the production is taking the risk to fail and loose a lot of money - and some how this little fact, the good souls that come and say all those "good" things usually tend to forget.
To continue and bring you more artists and make more parties, the productions HAVE TO BE financially successful. There are actual people there that busting their asses for months to do this for the crowd to have fun... Please try to understand that there are no Baron Edmund De Rotschild around here that wants to contribute his money for you to have fun get stoned and come back home for free.

PS. Actually I am fighting wind mills here...
5 years ago or more, I discovered a fact that made me very upset. I discovered that standard raver / trance lover, would prefer to swallow a pill that costs 60NIS over going to a shop and buy a CD that he likes for the same price.
When I discovered that it was overwhelming news... Never got this, so considering my little revelation from 5 years ago, opening this topic was completely useless...

by the way this is how i feel with making music..artists need to make money in order to continue to make music and everybody who thinks different-thats his/her choise.

but dont forget that people realy love to complain, its a part of human nature i guess... you cant realy prevent it from them
and we are talking about a free public forum with no face, voice or identity just nicknames - it probably the ultimate "complainer paradise"

Anyway, I think that the problem is a missed detachment between fantasy and real life.
It is indeed wonderful to think of a super line up in a small friends party;
secluded open location with natural sweet water lake nearby;
with models on cocaine and break-the-market prices on the bar.
But the understanding of where the line crosses from the possible to the impossible, and all the relevant compromises involved when dealing with things in a real life like environment...
well, its just not happening for some people.
(and it's also related to the other part of Yuli's message regarding CD market, think about it.)

Don't wanna spoil it to anyone I'm already not liked here hehe but it seems to be a pattern here with people that agree with Yuli...they are they people who are making money from the scene may it be prods, artists, djs or decos...we all know how jewish people like to make money of their friends' asses. *again Yuli nothing against your PROFESSIONAL side I love your music*
ofcourse nothing in Israel is free and most people who go to parties know where they are going to, but sometimes orgs can surprise you (Good & Bad!)

I wrote you a PM, for me the discussion has ended since it doesn't seem you even understand why I opened this thread and why the ppl that answered here agreed with me..
But, with all appreciation to the fact you like my music, you are very lucky I don't make parties anymore.
I would simply ban you from coming to my events if I was - no hard working person needs ppl like you to spread all those imaginative stories of police and org co operation, and deluded fantasies of bags full of money in the hands of jewish party organizations. Way too far my friend, way to far
