In 2 weeks you'll have the majority of party promoters throwing shit at each other (under disguise of course) and every frustrated wannabe DJ & artist doing the same on ppl who don't want to book them. Every side will say the other side is lying and we'll be stuck with loads of garbage and nothing positive coming out of it.

in the few times that people tried this in various online communities in the past that was the outcome.

I advise against it.

me too.

Me 3 and more over I advise everyone to give a serious consideration to advises from the legendary user Nachummm. He knows what he is talking about and does it with very few words.           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

wow....

big names don't get paid ok... I understand you're pissed off...

but lets all try to remember - there was once a time when trance parties were an action of plur, and djs weren't getting payed for playing, not at all.
what happened to the time music was a matter of fun rather than a job you do just to take the money for it?
and what about a black list where orgenizer can biatch about djs who screwed their parties and made everyone leave just because they sucked?
how about a black list of bookers can biatch about djs never showing up?
how about one that phone girls can biatch about productions that ask them to sit next to the phone for hours and never got paid for it?

well - lets turn the forum into a biatching one and thats it

this is black money buisness and sometime you loss, sometimes you wins, if i was to saw or biatch about everyone that didn't pay i would need a privet lawer in a full time job.

stop biatching and be happy for doing what you actually like doing and not waitering tables...

Well, there's some interesting arguments against the black list.. opening a biatching list can proove lethal on a forum.. especially where everyone knows everyone!
and in a small country like Israel can be a problem.
a biatching spree would become something hard to follow..
well mayB there should be a closed forum.. for artists / dj's only.. without access to promoters or guests, that would allow aritsts to comment more freely.. without fear of WW3.. like a union in a forum..

I am not sure where on the planet you are from but I have been part of this scene since 1992 and as an internaional artist/DJ since 1993 and I dont recall anywhere around the world where the DJ's or artists played for free except for Goa. Every DJ/artist I know and knew in the worldwide Goa scene got paid. Of course there were ocassional benefit parties where we played free.
