Well, we all have different perpectives about different things and its quite visible here ..
Detox you dont like the so called Darkpsy .. Good for you .. Its not ur path .. But then dun bitch about it ...
Maybe ur brain cant adapt it ..
All psychedelic music has one destination and has different paths as so called genres .. Which path you or ur brain takes is your perception, you adaptibility to accept that path and the way you go ..
So its just about different paths to one destination .. I dont feel there is something as Darkpsy or Full on or Proggy or whatever .. Its all PSYCHEDELIC ..
Accept it or leave it ..
About that you said "Ohm nama sivaya my ass".. It clearly shows disrecpect.. You dun seem to care to make ur point clear no matter you disrespcect god or his creation of religions or culture .. Not good ..

Dear Shroomz thats what i am trying to say all this time.
NO ITS NOT ALL PSYCHEDELIC.
Techno and House music also have a kick and a bass but they are not called psy techno neither psy house or anything like that and noone mixes up or confuses house and techno music with psychedelic trance.
Some people try to present 'dark psy' as psychedelic and even claim that 'dark psy' is a subgenre of psy trance but it has absolutely nothing to do with psychedelic trance at all.But you see psychedelic trance is at a big crisis for the last years and these amateur producers found a solid ground to develop their thing and gain attention through psychedelic trance.
I mean why couldnt 'dark psy' be a subgenre of happy hardcore or gabba?The bpm's and the music ideas sound more similar to me BUT ofcourse gabba is dead in our days and noone pays attention to it but psychedelic trance on the other side is more popular and thats why its better to label this kind of music as 'dark psy' rathen 'dark hardcore' or 'dark gabba' or whatever.
P.S When i said Ohm nama sivaya my ass i was obviously not trying to insult the religion but i was speaking ironically about artists who pretend to be spiritual and even sell to other people this 'spirituallity',read my post again and try to understand better.Like i said before PLUR and 4000 euros for a dj set dont mix well together

"Dark Psy", in my opinion, is just as much "Rhythmic Trance" (Redundant, i know) as Morning music or Progressive is "Melodic Trance"
Darkpsy is just fully based on rhythm and FX, so i do think that it is less "dynamic" as Melodic styles, but that doesn't mean it can't be just as good.
Dark and Melodic psy are almost two totally different types of music in that sense, so you can't really go saying that one is "better" than the other, it's your opinion. |

Well, we can argue this out all days and nights and the outcome aint gonna change unless you change your mind or the night freaks including me the balanced one (thats what i feel I am and now u cant change my view on that .. ).. So let me keep this aside and you can carry on with the others here and fight about the differences in psychedelics ..

I would like to inform you that i am neither a dj or an artist (because i dont want to and not because i cant since i get more dj booking offers than many who are supposed to be djs) so i doubt that there is a jealous feeling burning inside me heh.

Indeed, sometimes i have the feeling that ALL people in this forum have a direct interest into this music. DJs, producers, party organisers...etc...
and therefore the "atmosphere" in this forum got so bad the last couple of years.
But hey Detox, you are not on your own mate...I am NOT a DJ or a so called "Artist"...
Just i like to listen/discover interesting music...(obviously not that kind)

Honestly..putting aside that I love 'DARK' music but to pass off artists like Shift,Psykovsky (just to name a few artists that know what they are making) is nothing but poor musical taste. The more you try and ridicule people like these the more it makes me laugh at you.
