You want dark stuff 'ey?

ok, let's get started - Autechre has some amazing dark stuff, Plastikman of course, Venetian Snares have some wicked dark Insanity (notice the capital 'I' there), so does Brothomestates, Aphex Twin also ventures on the dark side a lot (the "I care because you do..." album!!!), on a more industrial note then I'd second Coil and Nurse With Wound... for some funky stuff, LFO will hit the spot... Rephlex are really a good label for this stuff (after all, this is the label that some of the most talented psychos were first signed in).

This is definately my kind of music lately.          http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Music may not take us to the Moon or let us live forever, but as we enter trough the doors it is opening before us, we find things far beyond our everyday experiences..

My reccomendation is va_Narcosis- excellent double disc compilation, released in 99 it provides you a two hour journey to depths of classic darrk darrk ambient!!

And Depths of despair rules although i can`t call it ambient,Shahars opening set at Doof 2005 was a thing to remember>>

I wouldn’t call this dark. Miminal but not dark.           Am i the only one who believes in solipsism?

wow! Is it dark or minimal or just deep? Good question for this release...!

I feel it's rather dark in the true sense of the word... because it gives me a feeling of burried tree roots, or deep ocean depths. It's not on the same side of the spectrum as "sunshine ambient", for sure. However, it's not dark in the "evil" or industrial sense.

A truly hypnotic sound, whatever it is!

My fav "Dark"/shamanic ambient:
