I think this is very interessting and might give some clues to important factors of how to create trance inducing effects to implement into psytrance.
Here are a interessting effect like elevating in a crescendo seen here in visual at about 26:20 minutes:
This one has some deeply tripped out visuals and can be interesting to wach.
Maybe the feeling you get when phasing between different harmonic tones is of importance. And what it does to the cells, the "energy body", magnetic fields and so on.
Great video! I don't know what you mean by 'phasing between different harmonic tones' but the feeling that music gives you is important, yes. It's the whole point. All that other stuff you mentioned is beside the point, but some people like to pretend their mystical speculation and wishful/magical thinking about it is actual knowledge, which it isn't.

Hey man give it a rest pleace, Psytrance is all about mysticism, spirituality and magic.. I dont know if I understand your grammar correctly, but it seems to me that you are angry because your mind is to small to understand so called "mystical" concepts, or something in that direction, are you christian or something? But since you seem to belive that you know it all, can you tel me what actual knowledge is then and how that works?

whenever I see stuff like this I always think 'oh hey that's neat' and my initial reaction or pondering moment is something along the lines of 'huh, I wonder if any of this knowledge/neat-ery is applicable or relevant to the task of making music'
I agree, it is really neat the way sound can make these patterns. I guess you could use them to visualise the similarities and relationships between aspects of different sounds by looking at similarities and relationships between the patterns they create on the same plate, but given that the actual pattern you get is dependant on both the specific sounds you put through it AND on the resonant properties of the plate (ie. if you change the dimensions or material of the plate you'll get totally different patterns for the same frequencies, so a sound that gives a peaceful, regular pattern on one plate can give a chaotic pattern on another plate) I don't think they have much to tell us about musical sounds in a context wider than their own specific dimensions.

Christian? HAHAHAHAHA no. I'm not religious, although I do have a spiritual life. It just doesn't depend on wishful thinking and pseudoscience.
Still, whatever you feel gives you the justification to insult me, I guess And Christians also.
I'm sorry dude, but I think the insulting started with your comment. And I was just joking with the christian stuff, ofcourse I know you are not.
Just getting a little fed up with this trollish commenting going on here all the time.
I'm gonna keep to just reading here from now on.
By the way I think this is very relevant, and very important to understand if you want your music to put someone in a trance, inducing astral projections or create visual spaces for tripping people, or guiding rythms for when you have left your body.
I know from experience with for example the ayahuasca icaros songs, other kinds of chanting or from the drumming of a shaman, that different patterns of certain tones can do some amazing stuff when you are tripping.
There are for certain similarities between shaman drumming and psytrance and i know many artists and people are talking about it.
But it would be awesome to take it to a deeper level.
You don't need to believe in an 'energy body' to know how to make music that puts people in a trance, and the similarities between shamanic drumming and trance music have been deeply discussed in the psy scene since I first found it in 1993. Too many people it seems are afraid of saying "I don't know" when they're confronted with a mystery, and yet that's the only honest answer. Putting our beliefs into the 'optical illusions of the mind' that we experience when we're in altered states of consciousness actively prevents learning taking place at those deeper levels you refer to.
