I definatly did read your whole post Detox, and the 50-50 thing was not lost on me.
Still, I think that splitting the blame 50-50 is entirely inappopriate. 50-50 blame is when both parties are on equal ethical footing. Sorry but being not very smart (or even being egotistical and selfish as you accused ParaHalu of being) is not at all on the same level is a DEATH THREAT.
Lets be clear about this:
Para Halu made a bad judgment call.
These organizers allegedly threatned peoples lives and engaged in physical violence.
It boggles the mind how you can call that an equal 50-50.
I'd call it more like 99-1 and that's being generous
I think you are the one who can't see the forest through the trees.
and @Pavel: In case there was any confusion it is tying people to trees, not hugging trees that I'm advocating here..

This is an incredibly sick thing that happened down there in Serbia.... I thought I had seen the worst when I saw an organizer treating his people like shit, shouting and threatening them and destroying their work... I feel sorry for everyone who went to such a °hell° of a party...
As for the political issues that shouldn't have been raised, let's be clear that NATO commited atrocities in Kosovo and disinformed the whole world, they bombed innocent people in Belgrade, shutting down their electricity and water supply. NATO is a criminal organization, no much better than criminal serbian militias or kosovar terrorists for what matters...
It just has nothing to do with trance, right? We raise our minds above that, don't we? That's why we can have fantastic peaceful parties even in the most agitated and unsafe places in the world, and congratulations to all respnsible and dedicated serbian organizers who do their best for the psyscene in their country.

hi all,
i got many questions about this and i think i should write something.....
first of all, the story is true.
to detox: if you go to play somewhere, you sign a contract that the organisers are nice guys or what? i asked around and some ppl told me they are ok (some ppl who i trust...) so i told them to send advance money & travelcost, and then i go.
first time they wanted to do it on 21th july, then they moved it to 5th august and said that the advance money was sent. some days later i got the info that they lied and ran out of money, so the party was canceled. i was pissed off of course.... then a few weeks later they said that everything is very okay now and party will happen for sure on 16th september if i accept this. i told them i accept if advance money & travelcost arrived. then (even i couldnt believe it) the advance money arrived to my account...... but the money for travel not. of course i told them i dont go till i dont get this piece, so some days before the party also the travelcost arrived.
so maybe it was not the best step to go there for play after this procedure, but i wanted to be nice and play good music for the serbian crowd  and actually the advance money and also travelcost arrived.
so i understand your view detox about hungry artists who wants to play anywhere for free but this is really not this situation... my bookings were mostly all right in the past and usually i decline all stinky requests.
overall it was the strangest situation ever, i really got kicked on my head, what i still feel physically but its not so hard, im okay, thanks for everybody asking.
and of course i dont think that whole serbia is fucked up, this story was only posted to let the ppl know about "hallucinations.org"... it was really unbelievable that something like this can happen in psychedelic scene.

good to read the answer from Adam... I hope that Detox and Psycosmo will hug each other after this reply... and one more thing...
it's sad to see political borders dividing trancers into different groups... i know that nationality is somewhat important to people... homeland and home country is the thing to be loved.. but not in the way of harming other people... patriotism and nationalism are two different spheres... like Ying & Yang ...
I hope that these people who are poisoned with the filth of hatred will get over it soon... I hope we'll all live together in eternal harmony and peace, with no worries and fears from "human" things that are disturbing the balance of the Universe.

This is the same as saying that Parahalu deserved what they got.. so yep your damn right you well be screamed at! there is no balance here.. only an ass human being! and thats the Serbian Organiser! an artist is there to perform not to be beaten up! your little fact there would have been true if the artist kicked the organisers mixer off stage and bid him in the ear! but he did nothing atall.. so 100% falls on this horrorble "so called organiser" and he deserves to be fucked in the ass on stage!sry-bout that....

You people are running way off topic by passing judgments at a particular community of people. Shit happens everywhere be it whatever country. Important thing is to understand that DJ/Artists that travel to other countries for parties are meeting strangers and anything is possible. |

Dear Adam first of all i wish you a fast recovery from the whole situation,forgot to mention that earlier i think.
On the main topic now...
You said that you asked some of your friends concerning these organisers in Serbia and you got good words about them.If i remember correctly your friend Sue who originally started this topic said that these guys had organised JUST ONE more party before so its a real suprise to me that someone had some good words to say about them.Also i can hardly believe that these guys changed from good or just ok organisers from their first and only party to thieves and criminals on their second one,people can be unstable characters but this is a major change dont you think?And ofcourse you cant sign a contract with an organiser where he will assure you that he will be a nice guy BUT you can sign a contract where you will state that you are not going there to play if you dont receive half money advance plus your air tickets or at least full transportation money plus ofcourse accomodation in a decent hotel room and food and drinks during your stay there.Ofcourse this doesnt guarantee you anything but at least you can remind him this paper when he doesnt send you the advance money and the travel expenses in the first place like it happened the first time he tried to booked you and like it almost happened in the second time and i say almost because according to your friend Sue he didnt send any advance the second time but ofcourse you cleared things more and said that he send some of the advance money and travel cost in the last moment or something like that.In any case a contract is useful most of the times and if you ask me i would just send him his money back the second time and tell him to fuck off since he was anything else than trustworthy after all these incidents.
NoxLupi i didnt said that Adam deserved what he got,noone deserves anything like that especially when he is dealing with music and parties,i am just saying that he is also responsible for bringing himself in this situation which he more or less also admitted in his post.I mean when you are treated bad and with lies in the first place only worst things can happen after that if you tolerate this behavior and unfortunately this is what happened in Adam's case.
Adam is ok now and these organisers probably wont work with anyone else so like i said in my previous posts let this story serve as an example for everyone out there and especially young artists.
