oh, so now its insults? and where exactly?

1st - I let our team do their work this weekend, they dont need my help. besides, its not about objectiveness - you are a danish 'proggy' purist, so you're not objective here either, eh?

2nd - exactly. I visited Denmark 2wice, and got only good impressions from my visits, both on personal and musical level. And dont bother associating me with the full-on style, go to the Top 10 section and see where my musical taste lays.

3rd - back to objectiveness, which is not a point here, see 1st reply.

wierd that when I agreed with you on other issues in other threads I wasn't so biased, but now you find me insulting.
You DO sound bitter, that's not an insult, and I'm sure I've read similar replies to your posts in other places as well.
We have an equal right to question each other in a public forum, and you do not reserve the right to post reply without someone else raising his/her own opinion about it.
I never questioned your opinion about the danish scene, since you make it quite obvious. And I did say something that is IMO important, but if you didn't get it, then...

First of all guys, come on stop fighting about non-sense, there is more then enough "fighting" around the world , no hippie Bullshit.

On the one hand I understand why Kristian (EP) is frustrated, because he doesn’t want to witness the complete destruction of the progressive scene, in Denmark am I right, Kristian?... But I do not believe that we are even near such an unfortunate situation in the Danish scene. As you said Helen, there are still a lot of pure progressive parties (in Njalsgade for example). But there has been a clear tend towards Full-on in the really big parties, lately (past year or so). But I know after talking to Kristian, that he does actually like a lot of the projects in Israel, and even some of the more full-on oriented projects. But he doesn’t want the Danish scene to become a true full-on scene and in a couple of years, and if the tendency continuous as it is now, it might be.

About this specific party I agree with Kristian, boring line-up, a much too similar booking of bands. I have nothing against them being Israeli, just to parallel a line up, and not my kind of Full-on either.

That's what I was thinking Green Channel You just descibe it way better than I do.... I have nothing against other styles of music at all (well except Country.... I just cant take it...lol).... I just would like to keep the Danish scene variated and innovative.

I totaly envy u guys for being in a place that has such a good music.
Audiobahn & Nervine records are promoting some very interesting lineups, and these are only the ones I personally know!

Remember that the Israeli style is what might be analogus to 'pop music' in our scene, and this is why it generates bigger crowds (in most places) - not because its musically better, but because its more accessible to 'ordinary' listeners.

Comparing your scene (which hosts foreign artists from all over the psy rainbow almost weekly) to the finnish scene where the range of acts one can 'safely' (economically speaking) bring over is very narrow, I think you are still better off - at least you have plenty to choose from every week, and not see the same artists over and over again without any refreshments from outside.

Enjoy your weekend, wherever you choose to be!

Love&Light,
A

You are totally right in my opinion Helen.... I don't know why people are complaning so damn much, but well "every man, different opinion"...

very soon there will be "Outdoor Forrest Parties"
the underground has a very special charm and atmosphere witch is nothing like theese BIG promoted parties with same style and dj's every weekend..

Helen:
You are not completely right. 99.9 % of the younger generations in Denmark do with complete certainty not consider Israeli full to be pop. In-fact my non-trance-listening-friends would consider Full-on to be harsher style then progressive (less pup’ish).

But I must admit after this party I understand why people in Israel are getting tired of Full-on, if every party is like the one I was too (1. May), then I would too go crazy, although I love some full-on. The music was quite all-right, but it sounds too formulated after eight hours of the same style. So as I said before in opinion variety is the most important ingredient at a party. Several styles should be tried out.

We do exactly the same over here. Less crowded, I believe, but on the same spirit.
