Not that interesting lineup. Visual Paradox unfortunatly turned to full on, Safi Connection is some of the worst (imho) full on around, but Sesto Sento is quite interesting though. They've actually made a couple of great progressive tracks, and their techy sideproject Ferbi Boys is quite nice too.

I think I'll stop by ... after all, it's the 1st of May           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Yeah, well - it's all a matter of taste. I was just disappointed with Visual Paradox last album, where they moved from smooth progressive to some of the more boring full on.

But we'll see - I've been surprised with liveacts before           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Beside Rinkadink, Sesto Sento was one of the big surpriceses in the new year.

Their new album "The Brigther Side" Is really good produced, original and funny sometimes. So I hope it's gonna be a good "concert"

Hopefully the "jyder" is not comeing, so we don't have to stand in line for 5 hours. Sea you

So finally Isralie Full - On have taken over the Danish scene... way to go Omid!!! Now I for sure know why you do parties....

It's cool with Full ON but why do we have to see all the 100% Isralie parties here almost every weekend? Isen't 1 Isralie artist enough a week? I would prefer more mixed parties... Ever heard about artists from other nations? - Many of them make really cool music

It's sad to see the Danish scene getting exploided by organisers that's out to milk as many people's (kids) pockets. What about educating people to have a wide music taste instead of brainwashing them with only Full On week after week after week ?

P.S. have you ever thought about using other DJ's than the usual 4 in this line - up? People are starting to think it's boring to listen to the same Dj's every weekend (source: the word on the street)!

But don't call me - I would for sure say NO thank you

NB! Why dont you tell who's the Chill Out Dj's? Aren't they cool enough to be mentioned here?
Anyway I bet they are more interesting than the main stage.

Sadly the days of a unique variated Danish scene has come to an end. R.I.P

He he you are right, really many full on acts at the moment.

They don't tell about the chill out dj's at all, not on the flyer, and not on the conzzept homepage either.

I agree with you Elysium - I also prefer mixed parties, but this is not the first time we see this. What about the progressive only parties? And what about the minimal only parties 2-4 years ago - they where also quite boring.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

My point Exactly Jannick, diversity is always preferred, and it goes both ways, I don’t want too much full on, but on the other hand I don’t want to live in an isolated cold progressive dungeon either. I prefer when the styles are mixed at parties. But I too remember the days were no one even dared to say full-on, it was almost as if the Danes felt superior in some way, in comparison to countries where they then played full-on.

What seems strange to me is that there are so many good full-on artists in Israel, why those that in my opinion are 2.rated, just to name a few ones which I really love: *Bizzare Contact, *Psysex, *Psycraft, Pop stream, Vibe tribe, Star-x, *Fatali, Exaile, *Evil drug lords, cosmic tone and Electro sun.
* = especially.
Progressive: *AKD, *BLT, Molecular, Yotopia, *dooper doopler and many more.

Most of these have not been to Denmark.

Elysium, you actualy REEK of bitterness.

regardless of this specific lineup, observe carefuly Green Channel's comment about danes and attitude towards full-on. I tend to agree that this was a general attitude, and was totaly suprised to see a different (and blessed) approach on our last visit to C.hagen (Antix, Lish, Frederic&Raban & me) - although that party was more progressive-oriented, the reactions to my -more- full-on style were definately cheerful. So, I guess that people DO like full-on and are not ashamed to show it anymore.
I can't understand why you complain, since by far C.hagen was the place with the best music I had the pleasure of comming to. A magnificent blend of lushous proggy-house and also banging Danish 'Iboga'-style trance, while being opened to our Israeli melodies and pumping groove.

As far as I know, Conzzept is directed at this style of music, probably because the organizers -
1. Have a crowd that likes this kind of music (hence gives them the economic ability to continue with this line)
2. Personally like this style.

As if C.hagen lacks pure progressive parties... poor you...

On a personal note, your post reminds me of other reactions by suomisoundi ('sound of finland') purists who complained that we (more Israeli sound oriented DJs) are taking over their 'pure' scene. I only hope you will not deteriorate to their level (they even got to direct antisemitic remarks...).

And BTW, Efrat is a psy-progressive DJ, although I'm not sure what line she will take there... she tends to suprise everytime she goes up on stage.

cheers,
A

Firts of all helen your not really the right person to talk about the state of the party scene in Denmark and the mentioned party for 3 reasons:

1. it's a com.pact party and you represent com.pact in Scandinavia so your not the most objective person.

2nd. You don't live here and have only been here a few times (or 1 time?). It takes more than a visit to know what's going on in the scene here.

3rd. You are from Israel yourself which in my opinion make you even less objective. We all want to promote our countrys music around the world

And if you want to debate with me in a prober manner then please restrain yourself from writing personal insults toward me. It does not suit you and frankly makes you appear very non-objective and immature.

And who are you to question what I think about the danish scene? It's my right as a danish person that have been a part of building the scene in Scandinavia from day one. A scene that was one of the most variated in the world. I have all the right to question the current development.

So back up with your insults and debate like a grown up if you got anything to say at all?

And as much as I respect Green Channel then he also know how danes see full on today. The majority love Full On here which is cool with me. I just would like to see something different than endless parties with Isralie full-on acts every weekend. There's so much good music in the world. Does every party have to be from Israel?
