@dNETv2:

Will do. make anotehr attempt to Listen to Earthlings album. tho i must admit i like one of his trax "Just say Yes". An earlier make of his.

Psychotic Micro:
Another artist im feeling good about is. Suprisin how no one seems to have mentioned them. These guys have the juice and the twists and some very nice melancholy tones. I think their my most bearable from Chem Crew.never fails to get me prancin when i hear their stuff.

Lani:
Ive only heard a few trax but these guys are good.
the track 'Over the moon' has such great tunes. its like a lil story.

Underrated artists:

Scatterbrain. ( wizards from OZ)

Hydrophonic ( tho he's popular with the dj's )

Nomad - On the planet Earth.....

I'm lately more attracted to this slightly off beat stuff like this. If anyone knows more tracks by other artists that have this type of bounce.... post it up!

i didnt see what the fuss was about neuromotors tracks but after i saw him live. . ........>>>>>...>>>>.
wowww he gave me my most transcendental trance experience to date.

np Neuromotor - Wind Clouds and Dance signs

i dont like void. i find his music to be lacking, it sor of feels like his tracks have potential but they devolve into evilcheese after about 4-5 minutes. case in point. Void-energize

Neat Thread

Rather than converting i'd say convincing or making realise.. then its upto your choice and true likes or dislikes (noninfluenced and nonhyped)

no offence meant to nobody .. i respect all artists who create music.. and rather than just criticism i'd say constructive criticism.. which helps

Well, VOID is much hyped here atleast in India.. I never found quality in their tracks.. their tracks try to get full on but sounds are not released as expected in the end they dont open up i guess.. it kills the fullon vibe coming out of me.. and worth a couple of listenings.. i had many tracks of VOID but then didnt bother to listen to all of em..
they lack so many things.. and pretty cheesy.. this 'true love' track is so funny !! but it could have been better and truely lovely

Sirius Isness - Siriusly amazing stuff they are creating. Beautiful music not surprisingly dont hear their name much here .. and needless to say they are on the top of my favourites Sure resolution in quality !! i am enjoying their music normally.. super vibes !! i am listening to their album daily.. and i love it more n more day by day.. just like the way trance music was for me when i got into it. Good its back with super quality of sounds. Thanks to Sirius Isness !

About Alien project .. i think not sure though.. ppl dont like them or dunno why.. But they have created super amazing positive full on music.. the best !! their latest album with spacecat is on the top of FULLEST ON music for me !!

About IM i would like to say.. i respect them alot and they created super psychedelic music.. but now i am ALSO feeling they wont rock the psychedelic scene.

Forgot to mention but the new hype of evil trance ..rather than just 'its cool'.. its good to be heard in the night ..not agaisnt evil music.. no light without darkness but again quality quality never found Xenomorphs music 'quality evil' enuf.
Then dont know why only couple of tracks of Dark nebula are good ! Good evil on stuff they make.

Psydrop is like God for all of us playing for our soul.

GREAT THREAD MATE!

dont know about most of your list but about Haldolium....

1.Haldolium-Pi-Symptom
(and the rest of the Degua album) one of my all time top 10.

2.Haldolium-Diabolika.... and again the whole H2 album i think is very good! and as some one mentioned the chill cd of H2 is alsso sweet!!!

i personaly think that "be real" and "Haldolium"
there last 2 albums are not that good....but thats me.

i would like to get some names of the best produced, funniest most psy trax from the Finnish style....the fans of this genre are the most certian about the superiarety of there loved genre and i still couldnt find the reason....any one care to give some standout tracknames and maybe linx to where i can listen to them?????? THX A LOT!!!!

Cheers.

On Neuromotor - I will agree, he plays a great energetic live set and has a smile-inducing stage presence I just haven't been able to latch on to any particular track he's produced + released as being stellar.

On Haldolium - Pi-Symptom is indeed a great song, very distinct - I can call up the shimmering melody even now, years after I last heard it anywhere... but outside of that one I've been unable to find something that really works for me... and that new album had a few too many fruity vocals for me to get into it. Might have to pass

Mr. Peculiar has plenty of excellent songs! Old ones Digital Humanoid and (yahhh!) Source of Rah still rock it... new stuff from the DVD is excellent - Frontal Reversal, Emerging Light, and Jedi of Psy are all highlights.

FYI: Shiva Skazi - By the Rivers and Alien Project's Midnight Sun rate favourably with me, though little else from either artist makes an impression.

As for the Finnish style... wooo-eee, it can be tough. I enjoy a lot of that madness but it isn't all well-produced. Here is a short list of some tracks you should try out at the very least:
Squaremeat - Vieteri Kierre, Pro Purenta, Illegal Operation
Eraser vs. Yöjalka - Ghost Train, Random Sector
Kiwa - Planet of the Apes, Kiva Runner, Digital Hangover (+more, Kiwa are the most accessable Finnish group)
Haltya - Forest Flavour + Electric Help Elves (full albums, both great)
Pelinpala - Lights, Atoms, & Molecules, Rikki Martin
Outolintu - Funk Y'All
Texas Faggott has plenty of goodies too, but I'm never good at distinguishing individual tracks of theirs...

I have also made extensive notes on the free stuff you'll find on Antiscarp but I don't have that all organized right now... there were a few specific songs from La Calamar and Tres Lost Amigos that I really liked above all others.

And of course if you want to step away from the traditional sauna sound you'll find Finland has two other great acts seldom mentioned - Highpersonic Whomen (progressive psy) and Poly 61 (real Goa trance!)...

How about great stand-out tracks from:
Bitmonx
Lemurians
Quadra
Bio-Tonic
Andromeda
Wrecked Machines
Tristan
Atomic Pulse

Welcome back to the thread basilisk – how did you like my first recommendations?

Anyways, some new recommendations for you:

Bitmonx:
To be honest I think some of Bitmonx’ tracks from his golden period (2000-2002) sound somewhat dated today, and they definitely worked a lot better back then – especially on the dance floor. One of my favourites is:
Bitmonx & Fabio Vs Erdbeer Kiwi (+ the remixes) (VA - Tryptamin on Iboga)

I much prefer his sideprojects and remixes though. Especially these:
Emou – But It’s Better (Bitmonx Remix) (Emou - Still...Dancing - The Remixes on Free Form)
POTS – Boichucanga (Bitmonx Remix) (VA – Solarseeds on Sunset Records)

Andromeda:
Beautiful melodic progressive trance for the morning hours. Not much more to say really.
Andromeda – Slip Streamed (VA - Groove Zone on Groove Zone)
And basically most of the debut album … read my review for my favourites :

Wrecked Machines:
Possibly the best artist to come out of Brazil, without a doubt my favourite act on Spun, and in my opinion he has an unusual high standard for a full on act. So many favourites to choose from, but here are a few:

Dual Head And Wrecked Machines – Which One (VA - Think Sync on Com.Pact)
Pixel Vs. Sub6 – One Shot (Wrecked Machines Remix) (VA – Neo:Robotics on Neurobiotic)
Wrecked Machines – Mind Stuck (VA – Beat-Ific on Spirit Zone)
… His debut album “Blink” is also still worth checking out.

Tristan:
I have mixed feelings about Tristan. He’s an excellent DJ, and has produced some classic tracks over time – but some of his releases have also been quite mediocre. I prefer:
Tristan – Fetish (Tristan – Audiodrome on Twisted)
Tristan – Fortean Times (VA – Unusual Suspects on Twisted)

Atomic Pulse:
Haven’t heard much of Atomic Pulses stuff, apart from the many collaborations with Astrix a few years back. Most of them where bombs though, and stand as some of the best full on tracks from that period – for instance “Valirus”, “Crystal Sequence” and “Scientific Reality”

Of the solo tracks I prefer this one, although it’s a bit darker than the usual style from Atomic Pulse:
Atomic Pulse – Activity (VA – Spectrum Analyzer on Spectrum)          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase
