Trance sucks everywhere,,but in Brazil it sucks even more

It's becoming like carnival,,,nonsense ppl,,,stupid ppl behaving like idiots (e.g. the umbrella gang & rebolation)....

As someone said,,brazil scene is what brazilian ppl deserve

So true.
But not only Brazilian. Humans...

It's just like when Richard and Sal return to Koh Phangan on the movie "The Beach".
People raving, throwing up, getting into fights ans shit like that!

You know, human nature...

At this point, the one and only thing I enjoy in the whole scene is... the music! Yeah!

Ohm? Leprechauns? Fairies? PLUR?!?!

No way. There's too much GOOD AND WELL PRODUCED MUSIC around, and this is ALL I care about.

About comercialization and popularization? I assume all of you know that old quote that says "Dance like nobody is watching". This is what I do to solve the problem! Now you may think "Yeah... how cool you are. You dance like nobody was watching you", and I say: No! I WATCH NOBODY! Everytime I attend to a party to see some act I just can't miss, this is what I do. I don't give a shit if there is a guy wearing his underwear like a hat or if there is a freak-weirdo-lollypoop-fanfa chewing the virtual bubble gum by my side. All I care about is music. No trance spirit, no PLUR, no magical beings and all that "I miss the good old times from Goa" feelling.

Progressive? Full on? Dark? It doesn't mater.

If you seek well, you'll always find GOOD and UNDERGROUND music. I can point some brazillian acts if you want.

The Government will never stop THE MUSIC.

Sorry if I sounded a little harsh or offended someone's opynion with mine. Like a lot of people, I'm tired of this subject.

Let's not end the conversation! What projects do you people think that improve our local scene? Of course we all have different tastes, but every gender has its goldies

I'd say Minimal Criminal, Woogie Boogie, Baphomet Engine and Zartorx.

What about yours?

I agree that those are some great artists but as i see one big problem is sectarism...

you have good fullon artists, good prog artists, good dark artists... but could you point one, just one "psy-trance" artist in brazil today, if u know what i mean?
Its difficult, and it shows a lot about the scene here
There are some improvement of course, but as i see nothing really creative, or original, or just different
just good projects trying to do more or less the same stuff that you can hear abroad..

I think my concept of psytrance artist is different from yours. For me is a person that makes psychedelic trance, which is art in my opinion. Oh yeah... i have to confess: some artists I like actually SELL their music. And don't have dread locks. Shame on me.

I enjoy a lot LOGICA today, i think they are making a beautiful work that goes from prog to full on or even dark tunes... really good!

Also The First Stone is a project that is always surprising, each time i see them playing live i enjoy more and more.

For the night i like Magma Ohm, Neo Vox, Karmazon... original music made for the dancefloor           www.soundcloud.com/paulasimioni
