i had noticed to a very strange thing in the forum lately:
it started in the last month i think, almost allways when someone post a new thred (unless it's someone from isratrance team or an artist), there are some people that making the thred to a joke by saying things and give a stupid answers that the person who wrote the thred wasen't ment too at all.
as far as i know, everyone who is writting a thred to the forum, wants to recieve a serius answer or reflection to his question or topic.
even if the thred looks stupid to u, if u don't agree with it, or even for some unknown reason u hate the person who wrote it, don't insult him and the forum by writting stuff that making the thred to a joke, give some respect!
like u wish that the people will respond for your threds.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. Or was that there are no stupid questions, only stupid people? I think the problem lies in the conflict between these two views. Sometimes a thread is just there so someone can say 'hey, look, I made a thread'. A lot of threads are for all purposes useless and unenlightening. I try not to get pissed off at these too often, but it happens. Maybe it's the fact that people want others to put as much thought into their threads as possible, instead of "what's the best _____" or "what's you're favorite ____ from ____" and so on, which have all been discussed, and usually turn into an online pissing contest.
Some of the sarcastic replies are by those that want to make this place a purer source of knowledge and debate, instead of a bunch of people trying to be noticed more than others.

I am very saddened that this happens. Unfortunately it seems that people who feel they care about the forum think that by paternalizing others and making fun of them they will make this place a better one.
I don't agree, my experience in life (and in online communities) showed me this never works. The only thing it creates is resentment and antagonism, and a divide between groups of people.
This place was never about groups of people, never about veterans against newcomers, smart against stupid, smartass again dumbass, we even succeeded going over the full on against progressive and staying together.
I'm very sorry Logic Mind that you got hurt, I'm even sorrier that other people got hurt and probably didn't even respond here to that.
Ppl, if you really care about the forum and not about yourselves, you should understand that hurting others (and yes, sarcasm, cynicism, paternalization, ridicule- they all hurt someone- there's a person on the other side) will never make a community better.
There are other ways to raise awerness (as Logic Mind did for example).
I really don't know what to do about this. I'm getting tired, maybe we should let this place be, and see how you like being either an anarchic violent society or one controlled by what few consider right... here goes the trance community? Or is it gone already and this place is just trying to keep a corpse alive? You deicde.

shahar my friend.
i wasen't hurt from the sarcastic or fun making replays.
i wrote this thread because i care about this forum very much, this forum and this site had taught me a lot about the thing i like most, the music.
i wrote this thread because i noticed that in the last month the forum became to a very uncomefortable place (i realy feel like home here).
i just hope that we will understand that this place is ours, shahar and his team created this site and this forum for us, and we need to keep it alive.

im realy sorry if i hurt anybody with my stupid answers/threads/what-so-ever. shahar is right about thing he said, also the members who got hurt of bastards like me (i feel like it partly about me this thread).
i want to say that sarcastic or stupid answers been done (and will be) for one good reason - make this place fit the global community - FUN'ey and LAUGH'full. im sorry, but academic tone during speaking about trance music not-so-fit reality of its own and cause to too deep thinking about things that just not so deep.
if u think that trance world and its ppl kinda professors trying make a nu-clear bombs so imo its not right.
here and out of here, alot of ppl forgot why they do it, what a reason for all those traveling and drugs - fun and laugh. somehow this place lost the fun and ppl trying to be too clever, and its more than ok, but when its turn to be never funny and ironie its looks a bit boring and have nothing with open mind full of laugh trance ppl i know and wanna see.

Happened to me before, a joke was taken by the other side as patronizing.
Now I just ignore all those posts. Leave them for the people that post/look in there. Let them enjoy.
Zombi has a point here though - a little bit of humor (even if it's sarcasm) will only make this a better and more fun place.
