Three magical gatherings are lined up in CO this summer by the ever growing collective that is Paradigm.
Mark these dates:
6/21
7/12
8/23
The first, as posted elsewhere, is the Sounds of Moontribe with Treavor, Brad, + Brian Seed.
The second has 3 headliners booked including a NZ duo doing a live set and 2 other Cali Trance djs, and the third has Treavor Moontribe returning along with another live act from Mexico...all I can say...for now. The second flyer for the 12th of July will be posted soon, so stay tuned. There are things happening of the open air nature in CO, it's just like DMTree said, you just have to know where to look. Amidst all the hype of the city rave scene, a few of us are quietly organizing much more sophisticated events. Our third gathering on 8/23 will be mostly psy, but we had to work into this over the summer to, hopefully, maximize turnout among peeps who are not quite turned onto the whole thing yet. We are not promoting music as much as spirituality, culture, and a cosmic environment.
Please check us out!

Nice to see some more psy in Colorado. I too have had a really hard time finding Psy parties to go to in Colorado.

Keep us posted on Psy events!!!

Thank you, all, for the kind words.
We are looking forward to presenting the wonderful 3 chapter novel we're working on here in CO for the summer.           <~/ALEXANDER\~>

There's an event at Boo & Dimitry's place this Saturday (May 17th), it's a website launch party/art opening for Zach. Mukti will be playing psytrance, not sure about the rest: Blue Lotus, Gnemo, Mickey Fisher, & DMTree.

Mukti, eh?
I've heard him play a few times including at a monthly we helped organize with Wacky Shack for a bit last year.
He blew the roof off Spa in downtown one night...super killer.           <~/ALEXANDER\~>

I happened upon Hallucinogen live at Cervantes afterhours last weekend....super badass and, for something of that nature here in Denver, a supreme luxury to stumble across in such an intimate environment.

Yeah, gonna have to miss that one...it's the day after my Bday, and the wonderful woman in my life has something special planned so...

Hallucinogen didn't play in Boulder, I thought? I know Simon Posford aka half of Schpongle aka Hallucinogen played a Schpongle dj set and a Younger Brother live with Prometheus, but I thought the only actual Hallucinogen set was after that George Acosta show at Cervantes...they kicked everyone out, let, like, almost 300 back in, super lax security, and then a Hallucinogen live, slammin' trance set from 3-5 am....it was pretty effin sick.           <~/ALEXANDER\~>

For sure...I desperately wanna hear the Jagged rig.
Despite Moontribe's reputation, if you want to be a part of more full on type gatherings, the second two are more for you, man.           <~/ALEXANDER\~>

i was planning on checking out the 'nz duo' event. i think some friends from new york might be visiting then, including possibly 1/2 of Animaltek.

me, i've been playing a lot more techno and mnml lately, psy only once in a while, the recent psy releases just haven't been very exciting. still love to hear a good psytrance set though, no matter what style.
