Great that you liked it elektric sheep.

About the 3rd Matenda release in just over a year, I can say that this is the second Chilling Matenda released, one year after the release of the first one.

The Matenda album last year is also the second Matenda release, "the first was released 2001", so it´s almost three years beetwen the first and the second Matenda album.

I am using Matenda in all my project, either it´s chill or trance, so I understand it can be confusing some time´s.

But since the release of Energy Loader album 2001, I didn´t release any album in 3 years. So in 2004 I had both chill and trance material which I released in two diffrent projects and that´s it ;-).           www.matenda.com

And another great review of Mattski (Revolve magazine)

Chilling Matenda started out as the experimental side-project of Denis Matenda, one of Sweden´s leading progressive trance artists. After last year´s triumph with “Chilling Matenda”, Denis releases his second down-beat ambient album. Mediteran is a smooth collection of tracks, which are inspired by this area of Europe´s delicious summers and stunning scenery.

The disc begins with the gorgeously slow “Good old Sun”- there´s plenty of time to weave your way around the piano and guitar hooks that send you off into the warmth of a sunny evening by the sea. “No Comprendo” breathes subtle waves of housey synths and calm grooves over a friendly bass line, and “Wonderful Life” leads you down to the water´s edge to dance out your dreams with it´s feathery piano patterns and unfolding melodies. The tunes begin to grow that house/Ibiza feel to them as we progress through the album, something that may put off the more psychedelic chillers at the beach, but there seems to be so much love and happiness poured into this music that this really shouldn´t matter. The seriously groovy “Adio Raj” climbs over itself effortlessly, spiralling into a dandelion delight of sonic happiness.

Mediteran is perhaps less of an ambient album then “Chilling Matenda”, less whispering samples and more subtle, soothing melodies. It´s all pieced together incredibly well – Global Phonehead records sure know how to release their first album: the positive, shining vibrations of this music will stay with you for some time to come. This will leave your ears smiling, your feet tickling and your head sliding… Great stuff !!!

Thanks Mercury Fall and Jiorva for your nice feedback, I surley need it, in times like this.

As you already know, cosmophilia has gone insolvent and my label http://www.globalphonehead.com has lost it´s distributor and all the incomes that the Mediteran sold for. It is hard to loose all the money with our first release, but the label is for sure gonna survive mostly becouse it is runned with passion and not only buisness! ; -)

For all of you who are intressted in digital sales, then you can find Mediteran on all big online digital stores through http://www.ingrooves.com (our digital distributor), such as for ex. http://www.beatport.com
http://www.napster.com
http://www.selectionmusic.com
etc.

For those who want to order the mediteran CD, you can order it by the label directly info@globalphonehead.com
