The last time I saw Astral Projection they blew me away. I know some people have issues with their style of music but they got me into Psytrance and, as far as I'm concerned, they can do no wrong. Bring it ON!! |

I enjoyed Astral Projection last time they were on (think it was an Astral Phoenix at Tyssen St) - but they were on for too long - they did the 4-6am slot and he first hour was great, but the second hour dragged a bit... not sure how much was being done live either bar the odd bit of percussion.
Interesting how far removed they currently are from whats now called psy-trance - but thats a discussion or another day! |

no john the last time astral played in london wasnt at astral phoniex,it was cosmic carrot at tyssen street also that night it was mino vs orion.Which is a coincidence.because both those acts are also coming,next month as a matter of fact,mino in the next chichime march1st.and orion in the next fairy tales feb 22nd.As for Astral live they must be doing it as they have asked for quite a lot of gear. |

I stand corrected - it must have been Cosmic Carrot ( march 2000 ish?) - seem to remember there was a good Squelch room that night with Mark Sinclair playing (amongst others)... as well as a 30 min power cut just as we were all... er.. geting in the party spirit... |
